Der Schlitz ist abgeschrägt, sodass beim Einsatz der Matrizen in einem Maschinenhalter die Einstellschraube entfernt und die Einstellung über die Einstellschrauben im Halter vorgenommen werden kann. Die Einstellung erfolgt über eine Schraube mit feiner Steigung, die die Seiten der Matrize auseinander drückt oder sie zusammenfedern lässt. Eine Seite hat eine Fase mit 2 bis 3 Gewindegängen zum Gewindeschneiden, die andere Seite hat eine Fase mit 1 bis 1-1/2 Gewindegängen zum Gewindeschneiden nahe einer Schulter. Runde Matrizen sind auf beiden Seiten abgeschrägt. Für eine längere Lebensdauer ist eine verstellbare runde Matrize aus Kohlenstoffstahl erwünscht.

It worked and had adjusting screw
Used it to clean up a severely roughed up tie rod end bolt. With adjusting screw, I was able to work the die back and forth gradually cleaning up the threads. Saved me for replacing the tie rod. And yes, it was all my fault.

Fantastic product great price well made. Used it to clean the bolts on my Ram truck to install running boards. Made it much easier then using wire brush to take the paint off. Cleaned up well. ????

Did the job
I used this to make 304 stainless steel studs. Cut multiple threads fine without issue, no signs of fatigue on the die yet. Mine had the adjustment screw.

Does NOT have adjusting screw.
Overall it worked for what i needed it to do, but it might as well be labeled one time use or disposable. It does NOT have a adjusting screw to space out the cutting surfaces like the description says it does. If it did it would probably last a lot longer as you could cut into the material gradually.
