Poor package design, be careful when you open it

The media could not be loaded. Unscrewed the pump to open (as one would normally do to open a pump product) and it shot up and sprayed all over my face. Poor package design. I rescrewed the pump back down in its closed position so I could show in the video what happened. It shot out worse the 1st time but I'm sure you get the idea

Works for hydroponics too

The pump dispenser is handy for those treating an entire pond but I'm using an eyedropper after calculating the amount needed for a 4 gal. reservoir for a hydroponics system. This is a small home system with only space for 54 plants but it certainly was too algae-friendly to not find a solution. This has done the trick. I added just 5 drops and it has remained clear after well over a week of circulation. To be clear, this is not the only thing I did to fight the algae. First I needed to tear down the system and use a special brush with a bleach solution and lots of rinsing and a few days to dry and air out. Then wrapped the pipes with aluminum foil to keep the light out of the pipes. An over-wrap of white vinyl to avoid temperature problems and it is looking good for nearly two weeks now. Great product for algae control! I made a light proof container for my reservoir also and added a special filter. But clear pure water with nutrients flowing through under a full near-tropical sun was just crying for algae and I was happy to find a natural type of solution that does the job!

Water seems clearer

I have a string algae problem and don't see that it's been doing much to control it but my pond is clearer after having a pond addition

Not harmful to birds

I bought this product to try and keep my fountain from getting green and not be harmful to birds. It helps but hasn't completely solved this issue.

It works!

I’ve been putting 1/2 squirt of barley extract in my tiny, green pond every other week for over a month. I didn’t think it was doing anything. This morning I woke to a tiny, CLEAR pond! Now I can see the rocks on the bottom. I will definitely buy again to maintain it.

Keeping my pool clean

Had low expectations but I was surprised, the pond is much cleaner since I used it. Have used it twice till now, in two week intervals and haven't had to clean any algae till now. Definitely satisfied.

Works amazingly

It worked great clearing up my small barrel ponds alge. Took a few days to get rid of the alge that was there and 1 pump a week is keeping the alge from coming back.
