Lots of loud air

Pump does a wonderful job of producing lots of air. Sadly, its loud. Other buyers have put the pump in the garage---I have it outside under a weatherproof box. No real help---tolerable because of the distance from the house. Working on a design to muffle the air intake--seems to be where the excessive sound comes from. Anyway, nice pump and seems to not get hot so--all of that is good.

Noisy as all getout

Just too noisy - with an iPhone app the pump measures right at 60 decibels just as the description says. BUT - 60 decibels is too much noise when in same room. Just seems more than 60 decibels. Even 15 ft away it's almost 50 dB.

Its mildly loud and it gets heated but very powerful

Yes, it's a bit loud but not to the extent that you can't hear anyone speak over it. Also, it gets hotter than the small non-commercial aquarium pumps. But, it is way better and supplies more air through a 6 valve manifold. Prior to install I thought it may be inadequate. I'm using it on a hydroponics system. I was happily wrong. Overall air pressure was higher than expected and exceeded my expectations and probably my necessity. The heat can be dismissed as an issue since it doesn't get hot enough to burn one's skin. The plump housing in comparison to a regular pump has an aluminum metal encasement which serves as a heat sink regulating temperatures. It also came with a 6 month warranty which I would have preferred a longer one, up to a year. I'm still satisfied with the overall product and it'd performance.

Very powerful

Works as advertised. My only complaint is it's incredibly LOUD !!! If possible, put this unit in another room- basement, closet, etc. Run a large air line to the manifold. I have the unit resting on black, course filter material to help dampen the vibration and noise, plus inside the aquarium stand cabinet. Still way too much vibration and noise.

Buen producto y funcional

Excelente producto, muy compacto (no esperaba que tanto) el nivel de ruido es adecuado, lo uso para una cortadora laser y puedo trabajar durante la noche. El caudal de aire quizá no sea muy fuerte pero lo suficiente para poder trabajar limpiamente con el láser.

Exageradamente ruidoso

Exageradamente ruidoso, dice que su ruido es menor de 60 decibeles y es mentira, su ruido ronda alrededor de 90 decibeles, se calienta muchísimo la bomba y las salidas de metal, potencia está bien

Trabajo bien al principio pero después de 5 meses se rompio el diafragma y ya no sirve.
