Not a rebuy.
I was excited to get these gloves to use at work. I loved the fit and the grip with these gloves. I was a bit disappointed that the back side of the gloves offer little protection from direct heat. I am a Extruder Operator that works with hot dies and plastics all day. The other main issue I have with the glove is that after only 5 months of use, the seems on my dominant hand are coming apart which leaves parts of my fingers exposed. For $50 dollars i expected them to last a bit longer. Probably will not buy again :(

Low on dexterity, great heat resistance
If you know my other reviews I’m an amateur welder, MIG, TIG, stick, plasma - I went though a couple pairs of nice Mechanix while teaching myself TIG welding, they’re dead now, gone to the hole-y place. Hey why not some heat resistance then? I’m sure warming my hands will get less as my TIG skills improve, but I would NOT recommend for TIG, trade off from high heat resistance is dexterity which I personally want for TIG welding, I’ve used these plasma cutting and stick, and they’re awesome - I actually just ran through a bunch of plasma pipe cutting, high volume, which I inevitably grabbed a fresh cut end or two and barely noticed - you don’t want to hold onto something super hot, there’s a little chart on temp vs time (in seconds) before you need to worry so moving around hot pipe, gross exhaust work, even grabbing a burning log from the fire pit, no worries - doing detailed work, anything requiring precision movement not so much - plus sizes run a little small/tight but even then with these broke in now anything super heat resistant and thin for dexterity just isn’t out there yet from what I’ve seen.

Great oven protection. Makes a great gift.
I bought my wife and myself each a pair of these gloves to use in the kitchen. We have an oven that is inconveniently located for baking and cooking. I don't want to risk a burn while bending over to remove pans from the oven, either from the hot pan itself or from brushing against the hot metal grates or sides of the oven or the oven door. These gloves block ALL the heat from a pan for those few seconds while removing the pan from the oven and placing it on a counter, or while moving the hot pan from counter to counter. (I say a "few seconds" because I don't know how long we could hold the pan without feeling the heat work through the gloves. But in our normal everyday use we have NEVER felt any heat starting to work through.) I searched everywhere and did not find ANY glove rated above 600 degrees, even among specialty welders' suppliers. These are the highest temp rated gloves out there. The gloves are also great for carrying hot dishes or plates of food to the table, and they make a great conversation starters. We bought two magnetic clips to hang both pair of gloves on the side of the refrigerator so they are always within each reach of the stove. These gloves can be a great, albeit unusual, gift for someone you care about who is a klutz. One caveat: the gloves fit small. Buy a larger size than you think you need.

Perfect for our thermoforming press
We got a new thermoforming press at our business, and two different employees were operating it, which requires reaching in between hot platens to remove our finished braille signs. One is a woman with small hands, the other a 6 foot seven inch man with very large hands. We couldn't find gloves in two such different sizes until we found this brand, specially made to work with very hot objects. We got two pairs, very different sizes, and they are each a perfect fit. They also look very effective against heat, and they enable our workers to use their hands efficiently since they aren't clumsy, but well fitting.

High heat resistance, low abrasion resistance
I purchased these for a CNC Laser operator who handles sheet metal and steel parts. The heat resistance was great, but one of the fingers tore in less than 2 weeks of use. If you're using these for applications where you aren't handling sharp metal, they would probably last a lot longer.

Great and Perfect for Heat
I deal a lot with hot lights in a photography studio setting. The lights can literally burn your fingerprints off. These gloves have 100% protected my hands. They are slightly big but that's my fault for overestimating the size of my hands.

Good head resistance BUT very bad durability
I bought this item around a month ago. International shipping was very fast. It came to Belgian customs in 4 days or so. If you are international buyer from Europe like me, this item will cost you little over double the price with shipping and customs tax. The product itself has good head resistance and exactly what I was searching for to do my duty at work. I work in a factory with the machine temperature around 200°C to 300°C degrees. Part of my work is also with molted plastic. At first I thought inside of the glove will stick to the plastic but none whatsoever. I think it is made of silicon an it does not stick at all. I can hold a hot metal/steel component around 10 sec w/o feeling the heat. The gloves is tight and very comfortable. If you also need to work with screws and such, it is easier to handle small items compared to other bulky gloves that are just made out of Kevlar. !!! HOWEVER !!! The durability is terrible!! As some other customers' reviews, I had the same problem on the fingertips of the gloves. They worn out on second day already AND I only wear the gloves during machine malfunction/repair periods, not during 8 hours of work. Since I knew the issue more or less via other reviewers, I was ready for it to be happening BUT on second day, really?? After all that money Real disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.
