Looks great, but it isn't thin plastic. It's got a substantial depth so measure twice

Months ago we replace a silly $20 pancake light that was the ONLY light in the kitchen. Because we wanted LIGHT, we bought a 8 bulb spider and loaded it with edison style LEDs. The fixture looks great and the kitchen is bright now. But the ceiling looked awful after that pancake slide around over the years. The spider only had a small base so I bought this one to both fix the spider dome in the middle and also cover all the ugly ceiling. After a couple of coats of a matte black it was ready. I wanted to install a zwave relay so I was taking the fixture down anyway. I'll actually admit that I thought it'd be like all the other thin plastic ones. It actually didn't fit anyway. I had to ask my wife to drop by Lowe's on the way home to get me longer lamp screws. Once that was done it worked fine. It looks great. Not only are the scratches gone, but it actually looks much more expensive and ornate.

Perfect for our home

Very pretty. We have a small dining room and I really wanted a medallion. My husband was skeptical because we have low 8' ceilings. It is an older home that we are renovating. This one is perfect and not too deep.

Have not yet installed, but I am happy with the design Ichoose. It will go around my ceiling fan. Very lightweight will be interested if it will be easy to install

Great for ceiling lights or fans

We needed this to cover an area where we replaced a ceiling light and was a different size. Works great. Looks nice. Good quality.
