Fantastic idea, but snaps are too weak and pouch does not stay attached
This is a fantastic idea in theory, but it fails in actual use. This pouch attaches to the bed rail in 6 places. The top two loops are attached using an adjustable clip and nylon strap. This holds it on very securely. The sides are held on by elastic bands that wrap around the vertical rails and snap back onto the pouch. There are 2 elastic bands on either side. This is where the attachment fails. There is no adjustment to these elastic bands and they need to stretch a lot to wrap around the vertical rail. They are stretched so tightly, that they barely reach around in order to snap back onto the pouch. The snaps themselves, are quite small and not very strong. If you touch the pouch in the slightest, the snap will pop open. Forget about even thinking of putting anything in, or taking anything out of the pouch at all. I had all 4 bands secured and just slipped the newspaper into the pouch - - - pop, pop, pop, pop - - - all four connections popped open and I was left with a loose pouch just hanging from the top rail. I did give this 2 stars, only because it is a nice pouch and a great idea. I was able to jury-rig using zip ties where the elastic bands and snaps were, so in the end, I am getting use of this in the way I had intended.

USABLE PORTABLE BAG
Purchased for the existing bed rail BUT did not measure, longer than rail. Feels sturdy, good size pockets & can put on either side of the rail. RECOMMEND YES

Straps will not attach
I would like to love this but can’t. It has 2 straps that clamp, and they work. Two of the four snap straps are too short. They will snap but weight of items placed in the pocket causes them to unsnap. As a result, the items in one side pocket fall out of the holder. I wanted it to hold a cell phone, eyeglasses and remote control but it doesn’t work. Will have to look for something else. Otherwise, it appears to be well made.

requires daily adjustment
I purchased this item for my 88 year old mother's twin bed in a memory care facility. She needs something to help steady her to get out of bed. It is not as stable as I had hoped. It rocks and walks/slides toward the head of the bed (probably when the staff makes the bed. even though it is securely strapped and tightened as per the directions. I check it's placement daily to ensure her safety.

Snaps on straps won't stay snapped
Pocket pouch is helpful for my husband but the snaps on the straps won't stay snapped around the bed rails, straps are too short. My suggestion would be to extend the length of the strap & add another snap so it can be adjustable to individual needs.

My mistake.....
The picture is misleading, yes it does say (for) bed rail now that i went back to check but regardless i miss read and thought it was the bed rail with the pouch when i bought it, now i don't have a bed rail and i'm stuck with a useless pouch. Had bought it for my dad, ended up thrown aside, will probably never give it to him to use because i don't have the bed rail that will fit exactly with this pouch and will end up buying another bed rail with or without a pouch.... : /
