Best ever

I’m a young woman that walks a lot and these are my favorite socks! I have 3 pairs in rotation and been wearing them for 2 years continuously and almost exclusively and only now one sock of the three pairs started to get a worn out heel. I lost another sock in the laundry so it was time to order a new pair as I love them so much. The price is high, but I wait for sales etc and it’s so worth it.

Not the Falke quality of the past

Unfortunately, these socks are unraveling after only a few washes. Quite disappointed in the quality.

Perfection Lacking

Comfortable, good-looking socks. That said, after the first washing, the top of the sock marked L (yes, each sock has L or R on it to designate the foot on which it is to be worn). Flaws in stitching or weave should not be present in socks that cost $33.

Can't recommend these socks enough

I have been wearing Flake socks for over 20 years and still love them. Great fit, comfortable and they last and last. These are the perfect winter socks for zero temps hiking, walking the dog or shovelling snow. Just roomy enough if you need to add a liner for even colder weather.

Excellent quality and very warm but breathable

I have Raynaud’s and circulation issues so my hands and feet are often very cold and go numb very easily. I have slowly been replacing all my old mostly polyester and cotton socks with those that have a high wool content, ideally with more wool in the blend than anything else (which can be hard to find!) I have a bunch of Kirkland Merino Wool Trail socks and 1 – 2 pairs each of Norfin/Laska, Darn Tough and Smartwool socks. These are my first Falke wool socks and I really like them. The fabric content is 63% Virgin Wool, 35% Polyamide, 2% Elastane. I ordered the size 5 – 6 which ended up being a smidge large on my women’s size 5 – 6 feet. I wonder if the sizes shown are for men? That might explain it. The wool is not as finely knit in comparison to Kirkland merino socks but they remain very warm but also breathable and don’t cause my feet to sweat. I am planning on buying more for sure!

Luxurious Quality Socks

I have purchased 4 pairs of Falke Walkie Socks to date, as they are ideal for walking and for warmth in the house. Quality and comfort are first class, and whilst they are not cheap, I consider their product to be the best on the market. I have also purchased 2 pairs of Falke Walkie Light Socks, which are similar but of course lighter, so more suitable in the warmer weather. These are also of superior product quality. The blue and red colours are both splendidly lovely. I am a UK Size 9 1/2 and the 44/45 Falke socks fit me perfectly.

Best Socks in the World

First time I tried Falke Walkies was 3 years ago in Amsterdam. I was wearing boots that gave me blisters while walking from Leidseplein back to the city center. Saw a sock store en route and bought their thickest socks available. The Walkies feel amazing. The next year we were in Amsterdam I looked for the same sock shop to buy more. I totally forgot the name of the store but knew where it was. I bought two more and convinced my husband to get one. Now the only socks he wants are Falke Walkies. Three years later my first Walkie pair still feels like brand new. These are really great for the cold weather. Keeps the feet warm and toasty. Not readily available in the US...had to buy from Amazon UK!!!

Good socks

These socks are really good. Comfortable, great fit, wash well and I assume they will will last a while. They did bobble around the heel after the first wear which I found disappointing. Having said that there has been little or no progression since then that I can see.
