Great Bookbag!
My 8 year old son needed a bookbag to carry his Chromebook and this did the trick! Great price for a great Bookbag!

Some good qualities, some bad
My son has been using this backpack for a month. On the good side, the bag is a decent size and most days he is able to fit all the items he needs for school but this is the max the backpack will hold (1.5" binder, 4 to 5 composition books, 2 to 3 paperback books, i-Pad and lunch bag). The center area of the bag is made well and the padding in the laptop area is ample. On the negative side, the water bottle holders are cut small. A 24 ounce stainless steel water bottle that is of normal diameter (i.e. fits in a cup holder) fits but does not sit all the way down in the pocket. The mesh of the water bottle pocket already has 2 holes in it. I've e-mailed Amazon to ask if there is a warranty but do not know the answer yet. If they had made the water bottle pockets better size & quality this could have been a 5 star backpack.

Fabulous Backpack
I don't have anything FILA, but figured it didn't matter for a backpack. I loved the color and general aesthetics. Another factor was a dedicated tablet pouch. It's comfortable to wear, the zippers don't get jammed and slide quickly and cleanly, and there are pockets for anything you can think of. I use this daily for taking my laptop to the office, and when on business trips, the backpack is full of all the essentials for a business trip, including my iPad, charging cables, passport, keys, pens, portable power charger, and more. This is arguably the best backpack I've ever had and I've had a couple of Swiss Gear ones. The true test will be how it holds up in the washing machine when the time comes. Thanks!

Durable, perfect size
I have 4 children and used to buy each of them a new backpack yearly. I've been through A LOT of backpacks. They wore out their High Sierra or Jansport bag every year. Then at a discount store (Ross, I think) I found this Fila backpack. My 3rd grader used it for 3 years! Note: It survived for Three years! Now, going into the 7th grade I got him this new blue one and bought one for his brother entering 10th grade, in black. Both boys carry laptops and the padded pocket for the laptop is convienent and doesn't add unnecessary bulk. The zipper pulls have a hearty grip and don't slip from their grasp.
