Form and function!

Functional, and also suited my aesthetic. Worked out well to hang all the coffee mugs I wanted to display.

Nice rack

I love the fact that this coffee mug rack is actually versatile in that you can hang it horizontally or vertically and can make it wider or skinnier. My only issue is that the little hanging hooks that come with them are extremely cheap. If you want to hang this you will need to either replace them with bigger and better hanging hooks (you might want to add more than two just to be safe) or you will want to mount it with screws. We had just recently received 3 sets of 4 beautiful mugs and needed somewhere to display them. I found this item and gave it a go. It's a fun little piece but as I said you will need to replace thew hanging hooks with something sturdier. I chose to put 4 screws in the rack by drilling two holes near the top and two near the bottom as I chose to hang this unit vertically. In fact I am thrilled that I did this because it creates a far more sturdier rack and while drilling and using the screwdriver I noticed that one of the hanging hooks had actually come off anyways. That would have been a terrible disaster if the mugs were on there. Anyways this rack is secured to the wall and isn't going anywhere. They proudly display beautiful mugs and is a great piece to have if you like to swap out seasonal mugs throughout the year. The rack itself is well made. I just was surprised by how cheap those hooks are. Anyways if you're just a little handy this rack will make a great display in your kitchen, dining room, etc. Oh and there are more uses for this than just mugs. I imagine you hang up a variety of items on these racks that could even go into the mudroom,clsoet, etc. So have fun exploring the different possibilities this little rack can provide.

Good quality - except for the hardware

When I received this, I tightened the screws on the back to make sure the pegs were secure. Many were loose and tightened up rather well, but a couple of pegs would still turn easily by hand after doing this. The mounting D-Rings are also very flimsy. So following the advice of previous reviewers, I went to a local hardware store and got replacement 1-Hole D-Ring hangers which were much sturdier. I also replaced the majority of the screws with ones I already had that were the correct length but a little larger in diameter (since several of the pegs had been drilled slightly too large for the screws that came with it--hence the turning easily). I used #8 1-1/2 in. flat-head wood screws to do this. These fit snugly and were flush with the back of the rack. Honestly, I'd replace all of the screws with these. I didn't simply because I ran out; so, I tried to balance the placement of the larger screws across the rack to provide great strength. Also, when you're tightening the new screws, you'll probably want some sort of silicone or rubber grip to hang on to the peg with, otherwise, you'll find that it's not quite tight. That said, the hangers and screws are very inexpensive, and if you have a Phillips-head screwdriver and five minutes, this is definitely worth it. The rack itself, hardware aside, is very sturdy and is on my wall as I speak. On another note, if you're hanging this in drywall or paneling, you're definitely going to want to use an anchor of some sort. I used E-Z Ancor Tap_N-Lock 1-1/2 in. Drywall Anchors and Screws pack. They are more durable than many other anchors I've used and much more reliable about opening up correctly behind the wall. You might also try those steel wire hook hangers (aka Hercules Hook). I've used those to hang very heavy objects on the wall before with great results.

Perfect for coffee station

It holds all of my coffee cups and makes them easily accessible. They match the cane in the cabinet i bought on Amazon perfectly.

Couple of complaints, but a good kitchen item

It is as I expected. I really like having this, I use it to hold my coffee mugs. I've had it for about 2 months and the only major complaint I have is that the pegs are tapered a bit so they narrow towards the head of the peg. So my coffee mugs rest almost on the head of it; which can be a vicarious thing when it comes to holding coffee mugs. I haven't had any issue with mugs falling off, they do stay once placed on a peg. The other complaint I have, and essentially the only other one I have, is if there is a bigger mug placed on a peg do it hands lower, placing a mug beneath it can make the cup above lose the security of being on the peg and fall off. So if there are cups that are slightly bigger and tend to hang lower than the mugs due to the handle, place those on the bottom pegs to avoid a broken cup.

Holding up coats etc.

I already had the screws in the wall I wanted this to hang from, so this was ideal. I've got it in the hallway holding up large coats and other items of clothing. I've had it for a few weeks and it seems to be holding up fine.
