Beautiful, great quality, flattering

I love the 70’s vibes and the French cut so hard to find. It is very well made. I bought also the tops and it is beautiful as well. I got also the other bikini with tropical print and animal print. I wish they had more prints with these ‘70s Cali vibes.

Know that this is a little more revealing than your average swimsuit!

This is a pretty revealing swimsuit ... it is called a French Cut but will show off more 'cheek' in the rear than your typical American swimsuit bottom. If you are okay with showing off a bit more hip and posterior at the beach or pool, it is pretty flattering to those with an athletic build. If you are a little chubby, this won't be very forgiving. My gf is not shy but also did not want to model this for the world to see in a photo. She is 5'6 and 135 lbs. and has an athletic/crossfit type of build. We got her a size 6 and she felt it was a bit tight but that an 8 would be too baggy. I think it looks great on her and shows off her figure ... she's a bit on the modest side and mentioned she'd be more inclined to wear this bottom in Europe or maybe Florida where racy bikinis are a little more the norm. It does go nicely with the matching top. The price is a tad high for what you get. I don't see this as amazingly high quality, although the little rope ties on the sides are nice and there is a little gold medallion on the rear. The material is nice ... but no better quality than you'd find for half the price at a mall store. While the colors are vibrant and fun, there is one part which looks a little blurry and pixilated. We are guessing that this is supposed to be this way ... but think it would look better if this was just straight up rainbow stripes. Overall, if you are looking for a bit of a different style ... and don't mind a cheeky showoff bikini bottom, this would be for you. If you are athletic and have good tone, you'll look like a million bucks. While overpriced in my opinion, it's not a bad swimsuit to be seen in, although there are probably value suits which are just as nice. We had not heard of the brand before but she wouldn't be opposed to wearing other suits from them as they seem high quality and uniquely styled.

Cute! Not as cheeky as expected

Sunshine 79 is a new brand to me, and I ended up ordering a bunch of their swimwear to try out. Across the board, the quality is great, the colors are vibrant, and the pieces I tried are true to the online photos. The material is soft, flexible, and still feels like it'll hold up for a long time. I love all the gold detailing; feels very classy. I'm 5'2", 110lbs, 32B and ordered size 2 of everything. This piece - the French-cut bikini bottoms - surprised me a little. They're definitely cheeky, but not as much as I expected they'd be. (Maybe I was thinking Brazilian cut?) I'm good with that - I don't want too much hanging out. These actually aren't too different in cut than the high-waisted bikini bottoms (see comparison photo). They do fit a bit more snugly - maybe slightly smaller than expected - but still aren't uncomfortable. Overall, I'm happy with these bottoms, especially paired with the bandeau bikini top. Very cute and very fun!

Flattering cut in front and back!

Very well constructed swim bottoms! They have a nice scoop in the front and moderate coverage to the back side. Great details and extra stitching in all the right places. The material is thick enough to not be see through when wet, even though they are white. Nice vivid colors in the rainbow print. I like wearing different solid color tops with these bottoms. True to size All day comfort Flattering style

Retro Rainbow Low-Cut Bikini Bottoms

These bikini bottoms are white with a multi-colored rainbow design that gives them a cool 1990s retro look! There are gold loops on each side with a decorative strap laced through. These bottoms give medium to full coverage in the back. This product is for the bottoms only, the top is available in a separate listing but I plan to wear them with a matching solid-colored top that I already own. The material is 83% nylon and 17% lycra/elastane and the fabric feels like a standard bathing suit. I am 5’2” and 102 pounds. I ordered the size 2 and I think it fits just a tiny bit small, I think could have ordered a size 4 because they are slightly squeezing my love handles just a little bit in the back. Besides that I love them and I highly recommend them - perhaps just order one size up!

Looks exactly like the pictures

This is my 2nd swimsuit from Sunshine 79 and I'm very impressed with the quality of the pieces! I'm 5 feet and around 105 lbs, and I ordered a size 4. The French cut sits higher on the hips and dips lower in the front, the back is actually pretty modest and covers most of my butt. I found the fit to be very flattering! The color is a beautiful pink and the material feels very substantial and good quality. I'm looking forward to wearing this cute pink bikini this summer.

Super cute

Super cute design, bright colors, just as pictured. This had a really nice fit it didn’t pinch the waist at all. It was easy to pair it with any of my colorful tops. It’s thick enough that it doesn’t get see-through and wet. Fits true to size. I would recommend.

Wore this to mexico and got so many compliments! Quality it great. The gold hardware is very cute and sturdy and the suit itself fits well has a stretch to it in just the right way!
