Perfection!

I bought this as a table for my addi king size express knitting machine. Its absolutely perfect. Take the glass out. Mount your round knitting machine and knit the night away. I cannot tell you how much i love this beautiful little addition to my living area.

Purchased 2 received assembly hardware for 1

Disliked the customer service would give a 1/10. Purchased over 60 days ago and I started the process the day after I received them. Received 2 items as paid for but 1 box was missing the assembly hardware. I have yet to receive anything other than 1 automatic reply email telling me to contact customer service... Liked the produce. 8/10

I'm glad I took the risk

I was a bit hesitant about buying this product after reading some mixed reviews, but went ahead and bought 2 for my living room. I'm glad I took the risk. They are very elegant-looking tables- as pictured on Amazon-, and great value for the price (I think I paid about $40 for each). Nice glossy espresso finish (just make sure to keep them dusted!), and I love the look of the glass center. If you've ever assembled your own furniture before you should have no trouble putting these together. I've assembled most of my furniture myself and I just breezed right through these. All the pieces were there and I didn't notice any obvious blemishes. One small issue I found was that some of the pre-drilled holes for attaching the lower shelf to the legs were too close to the edge, so there is a tiny gap between the shelf and a couple of the legs. However, it is not noticeable. Also, if you look through the glass top, you can see the screw heads where the top of the table attaches to the legs, but again, I hardly notice it as the surrounding wood is dark. Finally, as some other reviews have mentioned, the glass just sits on a little ledge in the table top- it's not secured in any way- and the glass is a tiny bit smaller than the hole it sits in (by maybe 1/16 inch), so it can slide around a little bit. I think these are all nit-picky things, but if those things are important to you, you might want to look for a different table. I thoroughly love these tables personally and based on my experience, would recommend trying them out.

Nightmare to assemble

I will update my review when/if I ever get the thing assembled. The screws provided are junk. They are too large for the pilot holes, and worst of all, they are too soft for the wood! Even with drilling larger pilot holes and making sure the screws were aligned perfectly, I easily sheared off the heads while trying to tighten the legs. I'm going to try to find a stainless steel version of these and see if I can manage to get the table together. Update: I purchased #10x1.25" self tapping sheet metal screws, and I was able to assemble the tables. They are nice looking and fairly sturdy. Definitely a good value for how inexpensive they were, but I still have to remove a star for the shoddy screws that were included since it was a hassle to assemble. These are the screws I ordered that work much better.#10 x 1-1/4" Truss Head Sheet Metal Screws, Full Thread, Phillips Drive, Stainless Steel 18-8, Bright Finish, Self-Tapping, Quantity 50 Pieces A couple of the table legs were still really difficult to attach so I had to drill bigger, deeper pilot holes in order to make it work.

Take Your Time Putting Together!

A lot of reviews complain about the screws but I found they were fine. Because of the comments, I took my time and was gentle and did not over torque when attaching the screws and did not have a problem. Considering the price, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the table was level on the floor after it was put together. These are beautiful and well built in my opinion. It is a true Espresso color as it matched my flooring and cupboards perfectly. I ended up returning mine but it was not due to quality. It was just too small for my space. I found the measurement description was hard to figure out so I ordered them so I could see for myself. I ordered 4, in case they worked well but only put one together and then decided they didn't work.

Okay for the price but overall clumsy.

Table arrived almost ontime and looks okay. Reading other reviews I was careful not to put too much force on the screws but ended up breaking the final one anyway. I got lucky it broke after it had tightened the leg to the body. Prior to that I stopped at the big orange hardware store to buy the 10 * 1.25" self tapping screws that some other buyer had recommended but they only had the 1" and 1.5". You may want to order them from Amazon and you only need 8 but go for a 10-pack to be safe. The last con is that the glass sits in place but is not glued or anything so you've got to be careful when moving the table.
