You just can't beat Gardena!

I have come to love all of Gardena's products. You can save a few dollars with other brands but they seldom ever perform as well as Gardena. The connectors make connecting and disconnecting hoses really quick and easy. I have a quick connector on each and every hose bib/faucet. I have a quick connector at the end of every hose. I have a quick connector on every hose end sprinkler. They last and last and continue to perform. Gardena is the best...

Excellent.

I really like the GARDENA connectors. They work very well even after a dozen seasons. I have a whole assortment of the metal ones I got at a discount store many years ago. I needed another male hose connector to female adapter and I thought the metal ones were a little pricey. This one doesn't disappoint and, at about a third of the price. I'll probably get a couple more.

Great product for picky people

I have been searching forever for good quick release/attach garden hose connectors. I bought everything our local hardware and big box stores had, and all of them were terrible. I had great luck with the sprinkler from Gardena, so I took a chance on these connectors. I bought a mix of metal and plastic connectors. All of them work, but I just like the feel of the metal connectors better. None of them have linked, so all are probably fine. If you have been trying to get connectors to switch up your various sprinklers and sprayers, these are the products to buy! Look no further.

both the hoses I put these connectors on required some effort to not leak

I had to spend some time fiddling and changing out the round rubber insert before these did not leak...but truth be told, I am not sure that this is the fault of THIS product so much as the product attaching it to. The problem seems to come from the connector used in the water nozzles you might want to attach this to. It must go in very securely, sometimes with a different rubber gasket than what is provided by the manufacturer in order to no leak when water is turned on.

Read before you order

Guess I didn't read carefully enough. This item is not a complete hose-to-faucet connection like I've purchased in the past. This is only the part that screws into the hose. The part that screws onto the faucet has to be purchased separately. Seems odd to me to sell the two parts separately, since one is no good without the other. Misleading marketing, I think, to show both parts on the package when both aren't included. Too inexpensive to bother returning, but I've had to order the other part to complete the connection. I can't accurately rate the connector as a whole until I have both parts in hand.
