Warm light (not white) and not good value

I was in a hurry and needed a light asap so bought this one - not good value for money, but I had no time to shop around -- Around $50 for a plastic light - also, don't think the rim is "metal" - looks and feels plastic to me. Works fine though easy install, but warm dim light - if you are looking for a bright white light - don't get this one.

Nice LED hallway light replacement

I ordered a bunch of different ceiling lights and this is the one that my wife and I agreed on looking the cleanest/nicest. It also compares favorably to the ones at the big box retailers in terms of both price and quality. A couple of things to note: - I ordered 4 lights and 2 were clearly used/returned from the wiring caps being removed and fingerprints on the chrome. I sent one back since it was dented slightly, but the other was fine to install. Definitely check yours before throwing the box away. - Instructions included are basic and the best piece of advice I can give is to figure out how to remove the white plastic cover early on. It is actually pretty hard to do on 3 of the 4 I received and like the idiot I can sometimes be, I spent too much time trying to install it with the cover on. - I would love to see the manufacturer make a glass cover version. The plastic is fine at 6 feet or farther, but you can definitely tell it is plastic up close. I would pay a premium for a glass version. Overall great find.

These are stylish low-profile dimmable LED fixtures that looks modern, but not show-off. Made in China. Caulk the holes inside to keep bugs out of the light after installing. I bought 18 of these for a house remodel. Comments: "Looks like cruise ship portals", "UFO lights", "Landing Strip Lights", "Classic Deco Style with a Modern Presentation". These can be found in the Amazon Warehouse because many of them had covers stuck to the body that are hard to remove at first. Don't over-tighten after install. Also they don't travel well since the shipping gorillas tend to dent the edges, crack the cover, with mis-handling.

Shade is NOT glass

I bought the Modern Style in Bronze. The description says it comes with "a modern design and a frosted GLASS shade". It is definitely plastic, but I still gave it 4 stars because it is very attractive and has great light. Someone just needs to correct the description.

Perfect for laundry room

Perfect for laundry room. We ordered two and that was a good call. The light color is bright, perfect for a work area. We ordered 2 'used' lights. Again, a good call. One was obviously previously installed, but in perfect condition and we'll packaged. The second had never been unpackaged. We paid $28/ea. A nice discount off the new price.

Easy to install and provides lots of light

Did not come with remote control or dimmer switch. Light was very bright. Purchased a dimmer switch and much happier now that we can adjust the brightness.

Very good for the price!

When I decided to purchase this light I had read numerous reviews on how it was not bright enough. Upon installation we have found that it is very bright. It is in a hallway and will be installing a dimmer switch since it is almost blinding in a narrow space..and we ordered 2! Must admit that I was a bit confused when I ordered ..thought I would have to purchase a bulb before installing. But did not have to since it is built right in!! Simply install and there you go! I I realized there was no way to prevent the light from coming out of the top since there are only 2 screws holding the shade on and it tilts on one side. I adjusted the screws on either side so the light at least appears even all the way around. Now it looks like it was supposed to be that way! I like it better then if there was no light peeking out the top! Love these lites! Very clean and go great with our flat black door hardware!!

Cute little light

Nice little light. I wanted something that was subtle but classy. I give it only 5 stars because the description said antique brass but it was definitely brushed nickel. I used some rub n buff to give it more of a gold tone.
