Favorite!

It’s his favorite toy and has lasted over two years! I bought a replacement shortly after just in case it broke, but so far haven’t had to take that one out of the bag. My dog goes crazy for this one. He will laser focus on it if you pick it up, pupils dilated and drooling. Throw it and he will certainly retrieve it for more fetching. There some sort of high he gets from playing with this ball. 10/10 would recommend.

Dogs really like these, loud squeaker

My dogs really like these balls and they’ve held up really well so far. My only complaint is that the squeaker is very loud and ear piercing at times when the dogs get real vigorous with squeaking them. So quality wise they’re good, but if you’re really sensitive to sounds you may want to consider something else.

Great toy for average or light chewers, needs supervision for aggressive squeakers.

Our Johan (90 lb GSD) is so funny when he gets a new toy. The first five minutes he carefully carries it around, stopping occasionally to gently set it down and sniff. Then pick it up again, giving a tiny squeeze to make a faint squeak. After five or six minutes he will settle down somewhere and experiment with the squeak, making a series of rapid squeaks, shifting his grip on the toy to vary the tone of the squeaks. This stage can take awhile, up to an hour if the toy isn't a round ball as he tries different angles to find what he likes best. Then the real noise starts. He will get as close to me and squeak it as loud and constantly as he can. This is generally when I throw him outside with the toy but he will recommence every time he comes in until he decides the stage is completed. Then he starts tossing it at me to get a game of catch going. No, not fetch, he doesn't want to have to chase it nor does he hand it to me or even drop it next to me. He stands five or six feet from me and tosses it at me to catch then I have to toss it back for him to catch. No, this stage can not be avoided either. After a couple hours outside squeaking it at anything that moves, trying to convince the neighbors, their dogs, cats, wild birds, rabbits, squirrels, groundhogs, and anything else he might see to come play with his new ball he will finally come in tired and take a nap. I really appreciate the ten minutes or so of peace and quiet before he wakes up ready for another game of catch. He really loved this toy, the nubs and texture give him a mouth fill he really enjoys. The squeaker was REALLY loud! It was neither to or to soft. He had a great 24 hours with it. 24 hours is actually about the average life span of squeakers for him, he tends to wear them out fast with the chronic squeaking and actually the squeaker is fine. The problem is it's no longer attached to the ball. Yup, completely blew it out leaving a hole just the right size for a tongue to get sucked in to, a potentially dangerous situation. I alleviated the problem by cutting a small hole opposite the opening left by the squeaker so it's safe now. If your dog isn't a strong chewer or power squeaker I expect this toy would last a long time however I wouldn't recommend allowing a dog to play with it unsupervised until you know for sure. Still, yes, I will probably order him another one.

Puppy's favorite toy

I bought a few toys at once for our Border Aussie puppy, and this one wins hands down. He plays with it all day, every day, and barely touches his other toys. It stands up to his chewing better than anything except his Kong, and seems to do a great job at keeping his teeth clean. The spikes are really great for his teething, but they're also helpful for when I want to throw the ball. Other balls get covered in saliva and are nasty to hold, but with this one the saliva doesn't stay on the tips of the spikes, so it's quite pleasant to play with. I couldn't be happier with this ball. My wife has a friend with a dog that always destroys his toys, and she's planning on getting one of these for them.

Squeaky Squeaky Squeaky

If your dog likes to make a ball squeak over and over. And over. This is the ball for them! Field tested for 60 minutes, never stopped squeaking. Our border collie is obsessed.

his favorite toy ❤️

This is one of the first toys I got for my puppy back when I got him a few months ago and it’s been his favorite since! He LOVES this toy, the first thing he does when I come home from work is bring me the ball lol It’s really sturdy and has held up to its great quality since I got it. I’m only having to replace it because we accidentally broke the squeaker while playing fetch ): It’s definitely worth the money though and I’ll continue to replace it as much as I need to lol

he loves these but..

great ball - loud squeak. the squeaker appears to be cleverly hidden. this was the 3rd one he's had in the last 6 months. all 3 are still in great condition, but the squeaker doesn't hold up like it should, all 3 are now silent. this last one quit squeaking in only 2 days. is getting so discouraging and expensive....

Glued on parts... Not Recommended

Due to the fact we have six large dogs, we are always on the lookout for "toys" for them that hopefully will last for more than a day. We have order other Gnawsome Balls and generally dogs are happy with them and thought squeakers and lights in some of them do not last that long, the balls themselves last longer than expected. However this particular Gnawsome "Soccer Ball" is much poor quality and only managed to last one day before being chewed apart. This is due to the fact until the other Gnawsome Balls we have purchase which are one piece, the "soccer ball" one had sections,the alternating black and white parts patterns, glued on which the dogs quickly pulled off.

Great ball

My 10 lb dog loves this ball. I bought 2 different balls (the other lights up and is a bit smaller) but this is the one he always brings to us to play. It has some bounce whereas his other toys do not. It's fun to watch him chase the bouncing ball. He's a chewer and this is standing up to his obsessive gnawing. Well worth the purchase! And I'm buying more for back up! And one for outside... ????

Durable toy

My dog has had this ball for almost a year. The squeaker still works and the ball is intact. She hasn't tried gnawing on it but uses it for fetch games. It has gone to the dog park several times and been used as a tug of war toy with multiple dogs - and hasn't broken. Durable and reasonably priced.
