It doesn’t have enough power
What did like that it does the job with pineapples and mangoes and ginger. But when I was making strawberries, blueberries and blackberries that tiny seeds jammed it up several times most of my juice and pulp went in the trash. So if your looking for pineapple mango with ginger this is the machine for you anything else good luck.

Well worth the investment.
It is fast to assemble, I will state the the lock cap is a bit rough to get on or off, but otherwise it works great the flange system on the end cap is a brilliant idea. I have made at least 4 cups of juice a day since I got it and it is a total pleasure to have it.

I really wanted to like this...
Things were promising on day 1 but started going downhill shortly thereafter. It's not a bad machine and probably excellent on things like wheat grass as others have noted. It makes a mushy mess of soft items like grapes, berries, lemons etc. But worked better on grapes as opposed to other citrus fruit. Green leafy veggies it does OK sometimes wrapping around the auger, then you follow with a hard veggie to push it through except what if you want greens only?. Worked excellent on small hard veggies like Ginger Root and Tumeric. I found it juiced red peppers the best but it can't handle carrots and beat root. After only a few days it started making these high pitched squeaks and these occasional weird gyrations. Both the plastic and metal parts have become stained and discolored after only a few days of use. The auger is breaking down already (chipping and scratches all over) so I had to order a replacement. I paid $101 for this machine and it comes with a very "limited" warranty. If you are on a budget and use it sparingly you should be fine but if juicing is to become part of your daily routine, better to save your money and buy quality. Omega has a 15 year warranty. Paying $300-$400 is not so bad knowing you're good until the year 2034. Why waste $100 on a junky product.

It’s fine as a starter juicer
It stops working as good after a short while. It’s decent, but needs a lot of readjusting while using. The worst part is that the parts are difficult to take a part after several uses. They get stuck. Before each use, I usually apply a little oil to the rims to keep it from sticking later. Again, it’s decent and works well as a beginner juicer.

Great entry-level juicer
We bought this a few months ago to try juicing, and have been extremely pleased. It is easy to assemble and easy to use. Disassembles just as easily and you can drop all of the parts in the dishwasher. It was actually more quiet than I expected, but you're turning solids into liquids - don't expect it to be silent. This works great with everything we've thrown in it: kale, ginger, carrots, beets - it would probably juice a bicycle if you cut it into small enough pieces. I've read that the more expensive double-screw juicers can extract more juice. But the pulp comes out pretty dry with this one - I don't know how much more juice you'll get at 4 or 5 times the price.... We were impressed enough that we bought another one for our daughter to bring back to school with her.

It works with carrots with no problem.
I bought this juicer ONLY to make carrot juice. I searched awhile to know about pros and cons of many products. I finally settled on this one with price in lower side but with good reviews for making juice from hard ingredients. And I'm happy. This is a great juicer. I have made a lot of carrot juice AND I don't see any part that may break in near future. The only problem have is... it seems to produce a little juice out of lots of carrots. This is the only juicer I've evern owned so I have nothing to compare with. I highly recommend it.

Still get a lot of pulp
I bought this because I had my last juicer for over 10 years and needed a new one when the motor died. I had hoped I wouldn't get so much pulp and get more juice, but I didn't notice any difference between my old cheap juicer and this masticating juicer. I will juice 2 apples, 4 carrots, a piece of ginger, and few pieces of kale each time and the cup that all the pulp falls into completely fills up each time. I would probably just buy a really amazing blender next time so none of the vegetables gets wasted.

Good masticating juicer but has some flaws
The Hamilton-Beach (67951) Masticating Slow Juicer produces good amount of quality juice. The juicer works as intended and clean up time doesn't consume to much time. The taste of all the juices I have made mostly using kale, celery, carrots, and apples was good. The pulp for the most part is dry. The main issue I found with the juicer is that it makes alot of grinding sound even when the unit is not being used but only powered on. The grindy creaky (like something is gunna break) sound further gets louder when in use which raises the question of durability and build quality of the unit. I'm not confidant in the longevity of the unit but it does come with a 5yrs warranty. The grindy sound on my unit could be exclusive to my unit but the machine is mostly made of only plastic and using hard vegetables and fruits will cause some stress on parts. Hard veggies and fruits work the best and soft ones become mush rather then juice.

Easy setup, easy clean, efficient juicer!
This is only my second juicer, but I can safely say it’s the best one to date. I read some other reviews about lengthy clean times and not being as user friendly, and I can attest that the people writing these reviews are from another dimension. I juice celery in the morning, and usually a second juice later in the day comprised of greens (kale, spinach), carrots, beets, oranges, apples, berries, pineapple etc... So far the pulp comes out pretty dry. The juicer can handle harder veg, like carrots, beets, celery, with ease. Where it does struggle a bit is soft fruits like berries. You often have to use the reverse feature for soft fruits however one way I’ve found to work well to avoid these issues is mix a few pieces of carrots along with the berries. As for the clean up, it take me about 15 seconds to put it together, and about 2 minutes to rinse clean. I don’t use the brush (provided) often and as long as you don’t let the remnants cake onto the auger etc., you can rinse it off under the tap easily! I’d recommend this juicer over a centrifugal anytime!

Perfect Budget Juicer
This masticating/slow press juicer is impressive for its price. Initially I was worried about the clean-up process being a deterrent from using it often but, at less than a minute of rinsing, was pleasantly surprised how simple it was. The parts are intuitive and easy to learn how to assemble and disassemble. It definitely extracts more juice than I expected, and the motor is fairly quiet in comparison to other juicers I've seen. Only one small design flaw in the large clear plastic attachment : there are 2 very small crannies that produce can get trapped in, and even the small toothbrush they provide has a hard time getting in there. But this is a really minimal concern. Otherwise, this is a good buy!

It is what it is
The media could not be loaded. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but having used this juicer almost every day (often twice a day), for the past 20 days, I've noticed some important things that are to be considered to make an informed decision before buying. First off, the machine itself works okay. It's not as good as my old Omega juicer, but it does the job. The yield is not nearly as dry as the description on the box make it seem... ''extracts 2X more juice''. After straining the pulp in a nutmilk bag, I was able to get 200ml more and could probably get more if I strained the pulp in smaller batches. It's what you can expect for 230$ juicer. That said, there are issues that I find problematic. The first thing I noticed when assembling it, was how difficult it was the put the plastic parts together. Not because it is complicated—it's pretty straight forward—but because the pieces are so tight together. This problem gets worse when taking it apart with added food pulp stuck inside, after you are done. All the parts feel poorly designed (the measurements are off), that it makes a squeaking sound when you use it.... Furthermore, I found the plastic to be easily scratched. It should be cleaned immediately after using... A few times I had to leave it behind to run out the door, and I paid the price later.
