Great tool for the price. I wish it came with a medal blade so I did not have to buy one. Normally I like to use a fresh blade every other cut so will buy a multi package of them.

Blades

Hammerhead claims that this saw has a universal collet'; not a universe that I inhabit. My Bauer blade just would not install correctly. The supplied plunge cut blade came loose after a few minutes of cutting. The semi-circular saw did not come loose but it took me more than 1/2 hour to cut away about 1/8" excess of a deck post. There is absolutely no doubt that this saw has the power to cut through at 2" by 4": provided you have the correct blades, which do not come with the saw. I called customer support today (Saturday) but have received no call back (no demerit certainly)). Chervon, the manufacturer, has an impeccable reputation and I am certain they wiil get back to me and make this right. But my project is on a short lease so I am sending the saw back for a refund

You get what you pay for.

This is a cheap product. I was ok with this as I did not intend to use it very often. The head is hard to tighten and loosens with use. If you need to use this often, look for a better product.

Excelente opción para trabajos pequeños

No quieresss gastar en una Bosch o una Milwakee por que solo la usas poco? Bueno, esta es una excelente opción. PROS:: Compatibilidad de cabezal tipo estrella. Trae 2 herramientas para corte y el cabezal para lijas. Cable duradero extra largo. Buena potencia para trabajos pequeños. CONS: Hace ruido que parece apenas puede con tanta potencia. Es pesada para trabajar con una sola mano Es bastante grande y poco ergonómica Para proyectos pequeños y rápidos esta perfecta por el precio.

Guauuuuuu, super!!!

Me ha sorprendido esta herramieta. Me dedico a la ingeniería de proyectos, razón por la que continuamente tengo que hacer prototipos. Soy más de DIY que de algo industrial. Adquirí esta multiherramienta porque una Dremel que había comprado me desilucionó. La Hammerhead es fantástica. Había leído algunos malos comentarios, pero nada que ver. El tamaño es perfecto (y no tengo manos grandes), el peso es equilibrado, la vibración es la adecuada (llevo años manejando herramientas, así que tengo experiencia) y la potencia es espectacular. Un consejo para los que estén buscando comentarios: dejen que la herramienta haga su trabajo, no la forzen. He realizado muchos cortes y le he dado su merecido descanso entre corte y corte, y no he tenido problema alguno. Además, el precio es de broma. No puedo creer que una herramienta tan buena cueste tan poco.

Thin handle which makes it easy to hold and light is great.

I love everything about this tool . The light I thought wouldn't be of use , but it's actually very bright and lights the work area well. Usually these types of tools hand a wide handle but this one fits nicely in the hand which allows you to work longer without cramping. All in all its a very well made tool , coupled with comfort you couldn't ask for more .

Sometimes the off brand is all you need

I got this tool to do one job, I needed to fix a door jam, and this work great, since then I've used it 4 times to cut or trim this or that. If you are like me and only think you'll need a tool like this only a few times a year than you can't got wrong with Hammerhead. One thing to keep in mind is the blades are cheap and don't last a long time. spent blades can be repurpose tho, they make great scrappers I'm told.

SHOULD HAVE TESTED IT….

i needed this to cut some drywall to extend some power wires after my kitchen reno. I thought it would at least work for the 20 minutes i needed it to. I was wrong. Within 1 minute, it started sparking and smelling of melted plastic and fire. Turned it off, waited a while, and it would not start anymore. I am passed the amazon return window so i am screwed now. This is not a quality product.
