It unravels bad when cut !

Be aware that this unravels really bad when cut . It will be really stringy at cuts .I think it will be really durable after installed but the cut issue needs to really ,really be addressed . I had to cut a little longer so I could turn ends under to stop the shredding .After research I read that it needed heat tool to cut to stop shredding . Not many have a tool like that .

very good

I have bought a bunch of different brands and types of weed barrier fabric. this is the best bang for the buck. will buy again. i have made grow bags out of it, covered a 100 by 60 foot raised bed area and used as under layment on my gravel drive Pros : covers large area, doesn't let weeds through. Makes a ton of nice grow bags if you have a sewing machine, easy to unroll. the guide lines are super nice for lining up plants and for lining up when overlapping strips to cover large area. lets water through Cons: received 282 feet. Crabgrass and Creeping Charlie will put roots down through the top if left undisturbed for too long. they are how ever much easier to remove from the top of this then they are from the dirt. Persimmon tree saplings are sharp enough to grow up through it. (i hate those trees nothing seems to stop them) Over all. will be buying again for next project

So far so good

My only issue was the delivery time. It came from Canada. I didn't expect that. I wasnt paying attention, i got overwhelmed in the sea of options. So far this is a good product. We will see after winter. Sometimes that's the only way to tell if it falls apart. The strings on the ends are a little annoying, but just tucked it under and it's fine. I have it under gravel where I want the grass to die, so I can't say if water permeates or not. It doesn't seem to puddle, so it might. So far I do recommend this product if you don't mind to wait a while to get it.

It is not "NON WOVEN", but very woven. So weak. Never for Commercial or residential ...

The media could not be loaded. I am really really disappointed at this product. It is very thin woven. So I cannot use it. I believed the description that it is heavy duty, but it is not honest one. It is for ??? what?? I don't know. It is very very light duty. I am a professional landscaper. I advise to whom consider to buy this item, you need search other items. You can see my video that attached here and judge. It is very short, but it is enough to say what the quality is. Anyway, I requested to return and wait the response from the vendor. The worst thing is you have to pay the postal fee by yourself to return to USA even the item was wrong one. I recommand strongly not to buy it. Thanks.

NOT Water-permeable; Too Short

Two major problems: - There is only about 250' on a roll that was supposed to contain 300'. - This is NOT water permeable. I laid it out, then overhead watered for an hour. Water stood on top of fabric or ran off; the soil underneath was completely dry. The product page claim is completely false. - A FIX: With that said, based on one other review that said it became permeable with exposure to the elements, we systematically pressure-washed an entire piece, and after that, water did come through fairly well. It seems to have opened up the weave. It's perhaps deteriorated the overall strength, too, but at least its working better to allow water through.

Disappointed...

I was looking for a heavier landscape fabric then was available at our local hardware stores. This was to be an area to be covered of 100 feet x 6 feet, then topped with 4 inches of gravel. Once delivered , I was happy with the weight of the roll and the fabric looked to be of good quality. So, I covered the soil with the fabric, then laid the gravel over top, careful not to tear the fabric. Within a month, I was shocked to see the " horsetail " weed coming through my gravel. I gently moved the crushed stone away, down to the fabric and couldn't believe seeing the " horsetail " weed had no problem breaking through the fabric. I did a little experiment with an extra piece of unused landscape fabric. I found I can poke a key through the landscape no problem, not as durable as I thought...Although I dont see any other weed coming through the fabric at this time, I am disappointed that after all this work, the product didnt meet my expectations to keep all weeds out.

Not as described

This is NOT heavy duty in any way. Note the description shows 2 different thicknesses. This is light weight material not suitable for anything more than a hobby flowerbed. Look at your local garden centre for the same material at far less cost. This is a 3rd party Amazon seller that is refusing to cover return shipping.

Would not buy again

The reason I purchased the item was that I liked the width and would make the laying of the fabric faster. Well when you unroll, as soon as you have to make a cut, it start fraying and fraying. My advice to anyone using this is, make sure where you make the cut you fold the edge 2 or 3 times while laying or else it will fray. You will also need the large staples to hold everything in place. For 200. plus $ I surely expected a better product. I do not recommend
