Hergestellt in den USA – passend für die meisten Kanus in Standardgröße. Die angegebenen Maße gelten für den aufgeblasenen Zustand des Beutels. Terrible decline in quality - do not buy

If you are a whitewater paddler and accustomed to the thickness and quality of nylon Float bags that you have bought in the past, do NOT buy these. On April 3, 2021, I ordered two Harmony Nylon 3D End Canoe Flotation Bags 48-inch – on the same order – to replace the ones I have on my solo whitewater canoe. The order stated that I would have 1-2 month’s wait for the Float bags to be shipped. Both recently arrived. However, for some unknown reason instead of them arriving together in one package, they arrived separately. One was delivered by the USPS, the other, several hours later, by an Amazon delivery truck. Both Float bags had the same product label and product number, but they were of a completely different quality. Both were 48” and had the same shape, but one was much lighter in color and was made of a totally different grade of material. The quality of the nylon on the lighter one was much thinner and of poorer quality. The only difference that I could see on the label was the date. The better quality one had a date of 10-6-2020, while the thin one had a date of 05-06-2021. The quality of the one whose date was 10-6-2020 was of the same high quality and thickness of all the other Float bags that I have used in the past. Going on the possibility that the dates on the labels are the dates of manufacture, it would appear that quality control of newly manufactured Float bags took a huge decline. Consequently, my warning to future buyers - do not buy. I would prefer to return the thin, flimsy one for a replacement but there seems to be no way I could be guaranteed to get the better quality one with the heavier grade nylon - and I would probably have another 1-2 month’s wait. I will need to look for another manufacturer.

Ultra Light Weight and Durable

I only use Harmony Nylon 3D flotation bags in my canoes. Recommend removing the bags from the canoe during transport to avoid wind and sand damage. Some of my Harmony bags have been in use for fifteen years.

Best option I have found lately

Lighter and fits better then their less expensive alternative. I hope it’s repairable. Can’t be any worse than the last ones I got from NRS.

Flimsy

Seam split after a very gentle use. Would hate to see what happens if the boat ever swamped and you really needed to rely on the inflation.

Stay on Top!

This is a very highly quality float bag. I placed one in the bow and stern of my Old Town Canoe while going down rapids. It defiantly will displace unwanted water inside your canoe. I also recommend a center bag in concert with the end bags. Yes I would recommend this item to a friend.

Harmony’s yellow bags are the longest lasting bags I’ve found in 25 years of ww boating. Very durable.

Good Quality

These bags seem to be well made so I don't have to worry about a puncture as much as I would with a vinyl bag. I use them in a canoe. They blow up easily and deflate fast with the big valve.

good floatation for price

54 inch bags fill up a 12 foot canoe and provide good flotation. one inch plug good for quick deflation and inflation (use a shop vac on reverse).

Leaks air at fill valve

The fill valve was not properly glued....you can see in the photo that above the crease it is properly glued below there is little or no glue....very disappointing...had a trip planned in 10 days :-(....just an addendum....a replace was shipped and received very quickly so all good! The return system as some bugs…the Purolator dropoff box is WAAAAAYYYYY too small. I put the item to be returned in the box that was used to ship the replacement and it is too big to fit in the slot….plus there was another parcel blocking the entrance….which could have easily been stolen….get a better shipper…Purolator sucks…
