Great pack, except for......
Bought this pack a month ago to replace my Voodoo Tactical Matrix pack. I travel 50%+ of the time with my work, so I need a reliable, tough, comfortable and organized pack for EDC. I had recently downsized my laptop, so was looking for a pack that would accommodate gear, but not too much extra. Probably should have bought the next size up as I ended up adding the Hazard 4 Hatch hard oval molle case and the Hazard 4 Broadside large utility pouch to it as well. I would give both of those accessories 5 stars. I researched packs for about three weeks straight before choosing to go with this pack. I might be a little OCD, but when it comes to this kind of investment, I am not going to spend my money foolishly. this was the first sling pack that I have tried, so I was getting used to it and it is not too bad to carry, just takes getting used to the "dismount" that was more difficult. getting it one, was easy into a single motion, then clip the stabilizing strap and go. This pack is made very well, has good organization features, and is worth the money, EXCEPT the crappy/weak buckles for the smaller straps. That is the only issue that I have had with it so far, and would want Hazard 4 to look to change their design for this attachment and those buckles to make them a bit wider and more substantial like the one on the main pack strap, which is AWSOME! All was going great when the clip for the stabilizing strap broke. Not real happy about that, especially for how much this thing cost!, but it was replaced pronto with no questions asked by Amazon. I gave it 4 stars for this reason. If it breaks again, then I'm going to get my money back and research back to a double strapped pack. like the Hazard 4 stuff, but this makes me a little gun-shy.

My Perfect Bag for Travel and Daily Use
As an avid traveller, specifically one that never checks luggage when flying, I've spent years looking for that Perfect Bag. For a time it was the smaller version of this bag, but now that I take my laptop everywhere I wanted one that could fit and protect that, so I picked this up. It's great not just for travel but is also a daily work bag. I really like the sling styling of this, and the security it offers. In shady areas, I spin it around to my chest to make the pockets less accessible to nimble fingers, and the locking switch on the buckle would make it more difficult it someone attempted to unbuckle it. The strap is wide and comfortable for long walks, and the general size and fit of the bag makes it good in situations where agility is required. The material quality is fantastic. After a year of daily use there hasn't been so much as a loose stitch or stuck zipper. The plastic buckles are extremely sturdy and have yet to crack. I bought this bag specifically to keep under the airline seat in front of me, and even at its fullest I've always managed to get it to fit while those suckers fight for space in the overhead bins. Of course the trade off for this portability is that space is limited- you have to be a bit of a Zen minimalist to decide what to pack and bring. I recently went on a two week trip with friends and they couldn't believe I only brought this tiny bag; each of them had two or three huge suitcases. Of course that was nothing- I've spent months on the road with this thing. Even if you're not a travel guru, it would make a good day or work bag. One tip for perspective buyers is to get some small packing cubes for organization. Since all your larger items or clothes will have to go in the main compartment, they help to keep things tidy and easy to find. The smaller pockets are great for miscellaneous toiletries or things like chargers and cables, and the side pockets are good for water bottles or a mini umbrella. Lastly, the padding in the laptop compartment that rests against the back is very thick and seems well protected. The inner layer is much thinner, so be weary of hard, bulky items in the main compartment. Having said that, none of the various laptops or iPads I've stored in there have been damaged. I am looking forward to many more adventures with this bag!

Good bag for light/medium loads, cameras, and traveling around town.
Great bag with lots of well placed dividers and pockets to keep things organized. Good padding in the shoulder strap. Swings around nicely to be able to access the content of the bag while on the move. Love this for traveling around the city as it's so easy to maneuver and reposition the bag depending on the situation - walking through the city, get on the train, need to find a seat and sit down quickly without taking off a backpack, instead you can just swing this to the front and take a seat. So many carry options: front carry, left shoulder, right shoulder, vertical, horizontal, carry with one of the 3 handles on the bag, etc. Would have given it 5 stars if it had an optional waist strap like some of the Maxpedition sling bags. I usually carry a large DSLR with lenses and a few other daily travel accessories; the bag can get heavy on a day long trip. Since there's no waist strap all the weight is on one of your shoulders so it can get tough on an all day excursion, having an option of a waist strap to place the weight were it belongs when you don't have a need to swing the pack around to your front side would be nice. Would definitely recommend for light/medium loads, cameras (and strapping a tripod to the exterior webbing), daily travel around town, etc.

The Bag That Rules Them All
This is the best damn backpack ever. Tighter than a cows arse on his way to the butcher. Coolest and most functional bag for every thing. You got an iPad? Laptop? Its got slots for that. This is the type of product you think of when people talked about made in America. Good for kids teens and adults. I have kids and would encourage parents to buy this cause you won't have to buy another bag again. Unless you put it through a mulcher. I just started writing a few reviews so I wouldn't waste my time unless I felt strongly about the product. Didn't know a thing about MOLLE until now. You can add and transform the bag to your liking. You can even add dividers to compartamentalize it. You can swing it around to get at any of the contents and the design with that is genius. Hazard 4?! You need any employees cause I know you guys can make good product. I use this as EDC but as a chef its invaluable

BEST Slingbag and pack I've ever owned
BEST Slingbag and pack I've ever owned - I thought the plan-B sling bag was good. This gives you so much more room and is more comfortable. So many places to store things. I just love this bag

Better than you thought!
What a backpack! This is a tank bag for sure and very comfortable on my shoulder. Everything is solid and sturdy, and the pockets are nicely layed out and useful. I do like the lock on the shoulder strap. This is my first Hazard 4 bag, but will buy more for sure! At £150, I feel it worth every penny.

i like it better that way
This is my first sling bag and i have got to say,as a collage student that studies in the woods, this bag has been a blessing. If i need a pen or simply look at my map, just sling it around. It also fits my acer 17 " laptop, but its a tight fit. I dont recomend putting a heavy load on this pack beacause you will get back pain after a while. For the bottle holder, i have no issues fitting my 38 nalgene bottle in it. The color was darker then the picture, but that's ok, i like it better that way.i find it's the perfect size for a student as an edc bag. This bag is highly recommended and is worth every penny.

Strong and effective bag
Love it! strong and for my use very practical! the sling system isn't design for heavy loads but I'm comfortable with a laptop, accessories and some clothing! So far no signs of wear and tear, all the handles and molle webbing are strong! I particularly enjoy the way they made the adjustable straps with velcro as to not have any dangling! very satisfied costumer!

Awesome bag. I use it everyday for work
Awesome bag. I use it everyday for work. Fits a tablet tablet or a laptop under 14" in the second compartment. I also use it when I hike with the kids in the woods. Holds a lot of beef jerky and coconut drinks for my two boys. It's very stable to wear and feels very solid even when I have to jog for a short distance. Stitching and wear resistance is phenomenal...quite expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for.
