Works well and is a good length

I have trouble with my back and my shoulders, so reaching high and low are both difficult. These work very well and I like having a few about the house so I don't have to carry one with me just in case. The only drawback with this model that I've discovered in the few days I've had them, the claw can overlap if pulled too tight and gets stuck. It is easy to reset, but the one I already had has never done that. Good product, good price! The star rating asks about suction power. This device is not designed with suction and I knew that when I bought it, so setting suction power to 4 stars with my other ratings.

good tool

I have four 26" of these tools and I have the 32" one for the bedroom. The only thing i wish the manufacture would do is to put a larger handle on the tool. The one they are now using is thin and can pinch.

Good value in a pickup device

This is a good pickup tool but I would prefer that it had a trigger pull rather than a palm squeeze to activate the closure of the suction cups.

Not suitable for me - unsure if it was faulty

I ordered this after my last grabber (different brand) broke. Rather than repurchase my old brand I went for this as it has a magnet to pick up needles and keys etc which would be handy as I craft and can sometimes loose pins on the floor. When this arrived I found it wouldn't close fully so wouldn't pick up paper or anything under an inch thick so it was unfortunately useless for me. I'm not sure if it was faulty or just designed this way but it wasn't fit did its purpose and had to be returned.

Bending problems? This is the answer.

I had hip replacement surgery in April. It went really successfully. One important warning I got from my surgeon was not to bend over to pick anything up off the floor for a while. This simple tool really does the job. I got so I could pick a pill or a credit card off the floor. And it has a magnet on the bottom that picks up most metal things.

Great for pickup of light weight stuff

Light in weight. Deft at picking up coins, paperclips and pieces of paper that I often drop, so I got a 2nd one for the other room I'm in. Note: not for heaving anything heavy as it breaks the plastic collar (half way down the shaft) that lets you turn the end that grips to 90/180/270 degree angles. I'm going to fix it with a metal sleeve but it will weigh more.

Quite happy with this item.

The Magnet is weak but I can just add a hard drive magnet to it and make it stronger for nothing. It picks up crushed cans pretty easily I even picked up an empty 12 pack of coke it grips very well I was even able to pick up a tube of chapstick. I wish it had its own way to lock when folded and they shipped it unfolded waste of cardboard. Over all this was the cheapest one and it works great.
