Good product but instructions are useless
Product is pretty value for the price. Box arrived with many hits and sides were basically torn open. I was worried about the glass pieces but they're packed together in a separate box with styrofoam. Thankfully they were okay. Now, it took me 5 hours to build (and rebuild and over and over) because the included instructions are useless. Not a single item was labeled so I had to put it together then realize what was wrong then take it apart and do it all over again. Since the company is incapable of typing up a simple list that would make everyone's lives easier (and not wasting a whole day away with a simple bookcase) here's my own instructions in hopes that they help someone: 1. Clear a workspace. You're going to need either a carpet or a rug to lay out all the items. 2. Open all the box. Clear out all the styrofoam and start gathering it away from the workspace. It's a lot so you'll need to do this or you'll be swimming in styrofoam before you start 3. Check to make sure everything is there and glass isn't broken. Count the screws to make sure you have 44 (they're all the same size don't worry). If glass arrives broken, you'll need to return so repack everything 4. Forget what the booklet says - start with the shelves - the squiggly ones that are supposed to go in the middle (the horizontal pieces in the image). You're gonna need to find 3 matching pairs. Each pair is sandwiched together so try to match them by the inner guide lines. 5. Grab item 'G' and screw onto E and F. They're not labeled so look for the short bars. These join the pairs you just made. BUT!!! Most importantly: make sure the inner guide lines line up with the others to form a square. This is where the glass is supposed to go. If one is facing the other way the glass won't be able to balance itself and it'll be a disaster to start over again. 6. Once you have these 3 shelves (the pairs) joined together lay them carefully onto some cardboard or styrofoam and set aside 7. Find item 'A' and 'B'. They look exactly the same as 'C' and 'D' so basically just make the vertical sides. They're split in half so you'll need to screw the top part onto the bottom part. Set that aside then start with the other side. Basically, make the entire left piece and the entire right piece. Set them aside. 8. Grab one of those side pieces you just finished screwing together, lay it on its side. For example, grab the CD part. you're going to put the squiggly shelves onto them. BUT - make sure you're doing it in the right direction. Follow the image shown. I estimated and then the top side piece didn't slide in correctly. So grab the CD piece, lay it on its side, start sliding the shelves in (checking your work with the image). 9. Grab the AB or other side piece. Carefully, try to slide it onto all the pieces. If there's a gap then you know one of the shelves are in the wrong place and you gotta unscrew that shelf and flip it around. This is the hard part because nothing is labeled. 10. Once you've slid the AB long side piece onto the others - start screwing. Be careful not to do it too tightly though - leave some room for movement because if you do one side too tightly the other end won't fit (trust me - this is what i did wrong). 11. Once you've gotten the bookcase together (with the screws nearly tightened), be careful and lift it to a standing position. Make sure the feet side are away from the lift - literally, position the bookcase so that you lift it and the feet face the floor. 12. Wiggle everything to make sure it's sturdy. If not, get to tightening. Tighten and check everything before you touch glass. The bookcase must be level (if not, screw or unscrew the bottom levels under the feet). 13. Once the bookcase is sturdy, standing up, and won't fall apart, place the little plastic clear bubbles onto the inner guidelines of the shelves. This is what the glass is going to balance on. You're gonna want one bubble in each corner and for the 2 long pieces (top and bottom shelf) also add on a bubble in the middle on each side. So 6 bubbles total for top and bottom pieces. The rest just have 4 bubbles each. 14. Slowly - very very carefully, unpack the glass near the bookcase already standing. Carry each piece over and then put one hand on top and the other on the bottom of the glass piece and place it carefully onto the bubble pieces. 15. Make a final check and wiggle everything lightly to make sure nothing falls over. tighten any screws and you're done! Hopefully, you won't take as long as I did. But the product itself is good quality! Definitely worth the price!

lil issue
ok.. 1st the shipping was HELL. my box looked like it was tossed around n smashed around. my bottom foam, less then a quarter was left, as top had 3 inches. wow. and NOTHING was broken. i was surprised. next the instructions, half pointless. they tell u put 1 to b and such... it doesnt help when the pieces arent labeled. not even the plastic bags. as i was putting it together guessing. my 2nd screw got stuck, and i had to use a grinder to cut it off. as the dam hex screw stripped on me. by the end, 2 pieces are backwards, and i cant seem to fix it unless i undo it all. no thanks. another improvement. put rubber pieces on the metal to let it sit better. this was prefect size n Look i wanted. i need another, but im hoping for a sale. :) 4.8 in the end. rough shipping. not labeled well, but the product was nice in the end.

Beautiful & great value
I received these two Etagere's and LOVE them! The first one took my spouse & I one hour to assemble and the second only took 50 minutes. No broken glass and all the pieces were there. The box weighs 80 pounds so if you are a lady, I recommend someone helping you to carry them into the house. It definitely is easier to assemble with two people. I love the satin finish and happy it has tempered glass shelves. I think that they are wonderful especially for the money.

Beautiful book shelf
This book shelve is gorgeous. There is two reasons why I gave it a 4 stars. First it was delivered with broken glass panel. The second reason would be that it is slightly difficult to assemble but not hard. However ,I would definitely buy it again!!!
