A little smaller than I wanted, but works for me.

I was actually looking for something a bit larger to replace a similar platter that broke. I like to use Melamine platters to shuttle food between my grill and the house (a cement patio can do damage to a china plate!). A larger platter (say, about 15") would be more versatile, but this one still works well enough.

Perfect Platter

Exactly what I've been looking for. A large, melamine platter for bringing food from the outdoor grill to the table. I have several very pretty white platters (from William Sonoma), but they are ceramic, and too heavy for me (bad back) once they are piled with food. This melamine platter is perfection. I may purchase a second one.

Dinner Plate

I love the platter. I like to eat, and usually have more on my plate so I need a bigger dinner plate. This is perfect for me, Thfood fits nicely, it is very lightweight and cleans up easily. My perfect dinner plate!!

Lightweight and perfectly sized!

We use this to put rolls on the table when we have people over for dinner. It's light enough that it can be passed from person to person using only one hand. We bought the 14" size, but I like it so much that I'm considering getting the larger one too. I wish it came in more colors. :-)
