Great for remote playing over a web cam!

We just finished our first Kokoro remote gaming session. Setup We had copies of the game in both remote locations. You could also print out the board if someone didn't have the game. We had two Web cams hooked up through laptops so we can see/hear everyone. OPTIONAL: We had a third Phone camera showing the 'caller' area where we flipped over the Sanctuary and Path cards. You could easily skip this step and just call out the path # and/or show the card on the Web cam. Remote Rule Change We chose to scrap the 'peek ahead' mechanic; otherwise, you could just have everyone else close their eyes while one person looked. This would be a little awkward for the caller though as he or she would have to flip the card over without looking. Thoughts Kokoro is a good, fast, easy game for remote play! It does have enough variation (e.g., pink side of the board and decree cards) and strategy to keep people engaged. It is also an inexpensive game with no limit of the number of players, so it is great for a large audience.

Quick Fun

Fun, quick game with variability and more choices than you would think. Like that the boards are dry erase and double sided. Like the goal cards that add an extra twist. Easy to play over Zoom with friends while social distancing. You can find printable files of the board online so people at other locations can print them off and then you can have a camera pointed at the cards as you flip them.

Fun, light, enjoyable.

This is a fun, light little card & write game. It's pretty easy to get up and running and though it may seem overly simple at first it's surprising where things can go and how different your board ends up looking from your opponents' boards. Although this game will make you think a bit it's a pretty easy, light hearted game that doesn't require a huge time commitment.

A good puzzle of a game

This is my first game in the roll and write (well, flip and write) category. It a great little competitive puzzle. Trying to use the routes that come up in a wise way makes things a bit of a brain burner sometimes. The components are pretty top notch too. I really like the double sided dry erase boards.

Good family game

Addictive game that can play up to 8 people. The first game is a learning phase. Dont expect to score high as you are learning the objective. This is a game that when explained, some may not understand. So be patient and play a round slow and explain the process and by the third round, they will start to get what to do.

I bought this for my 8 year daughter. She wanted original Avenue game, but cannot find it in Amazon. She was very pleased with this Kokoru avenue.

This is a great game to play with a decent amount of people

This is a great game to play with a decent amount of people .It's very easy to explain and no one can complain bout things being unfair since everyone is given the exact same things to work with. It's also a game that I've played with my parents and cousins.

Great flip and write with dry erase boards

After a couple of false starts after misreading the rules we really enjoyed playing this game that rewards forward thinking as well as pushing your luck a bit on what might be drawn next. A winner. If you play it once easy to remember ????

Kein Überflieger

Bei diesem Spiel war die Vorfreude groß, die Freude am tatsächlichen Spiel ist allerdings recht überschaubar - von der Mechanik her schon ganz nett, haut mich aber nicht von den Socken, und die Stifte sind leider eine richtige Pest. Sie malen oft nicht richtig, und wenn man dann eine zu schwache Linie verstärken will, stellt man fest: Wo der Stift über eine bereits bestehende Linie geht, nimmt er die Farbe wieder mit wie ein Radiergummi. Richtig arg nervig, macht wenig Freude. Während ich "Kodama" von ganzem Herzen liebe, kann ich "Kokoro" leider nicht weiterempfehlen.
