Good ratchet
Very pleased
Scritto da: turfknocker
seems durable however have not used very much yet
i gave it 3 stars because the lack of instructions for settings and shifting from forward to reverse. I was going to send it back till i finally got it to rotate. The bulkiness and weight was dissapointing. The biggest dissapointment was the lack of power. This is a very weak tool .....or i am a very strong 70 year old. Almost everything i've used it on to date, i've had to break free with a ratchet 1st. Iv'e adjusted my compressor to 90psi. as per instructions. I dont know if i can run the compressor up more or not (?) As i stated the instructions were very minimal and vague. Most all the booklet pertained to all the different languages it was published in.

Good tool
I have had this tool for a while now and use it fairly often. I look after my tools so I oil it and care for it. I think it is good and better than average. The sleeve that reverses the ratchet (tighten and loosen bolts) is ok but could have a nicer detent. I thought that the plastic outer might have been fragile however it has held up well. It has plenty of power for a 3/8 drive and along with the adjustable speed/power is really handy. Like other reviewers I would say it is a bit bulky but it’s ok to use. I am guessing I may have this as long as my CP ½ drive which I have had for over 20 years ? who knows ! maybe ? Would I recommend, in one word, Yep.

Ingersoll Rand is the BEST
This ratchet is the BEST!! I really like the simple twist forward/reverse collar!! That is one of the features that make this tool so unique! Plenty of working torque. In tight spaces the button trigger design is far superior and easier to operate than the lever type. One thing I find I dislike about this particular air ratchet is that for a ratchet with a composite body is that is quite heavy. But I still give it 5 stars because of the quality craftsmaship and strength it has. Great styling, ergonomics and good power help get the job done. Good Buy!

Strong Air Ratchet
Although a bit larger than a traditional air ratchet it allows for a lot of leverage and has much more power. I mainly use it for hood adjustment on buses as it requires a ridiculous number of extensions to get to with the hood closed. This tools added power allows me to do that and not worry about applying leverage by hand to work quickly.

Great tool
I am a automotive technician, and I have been using this ratchet for roughly 3 weeks. What a great tool. I have no complaints the forward reverse collar works nicely. It has plenty of power I thought maybe I wouldn’t like it having 65ftpds, but complaints here. I had a lightning ratchet for many years and loved it. So I had to get another Ingersoll Rand product. Great tool no regrets!!

Can you say quiet?!?!
Let me start by saying i am a tech at a car dealership and i do use this a good amount. the main thing i noticed when i first used this air ratchet was how quiet it was...Compared to every other air ratchet in the shop, this thing is whisper quite!! Compared to a 1/4" matco air ratchet this thing sounds almost too quiet. As far as power goes, it does great and haven't run into any problems with this yet other than not being able to fit into really tight places, but lets be real, this is a 3/8 air ratchet.

Great tool. Revised review.
This is a revised review after having it for a few more years. I never realized the air intake port was instructed with a piece of cardboard material. Not sure where it came from but now it has tonnes of power. The directional control sorted out after more use. Great tool. Sorry to IR for the negative feedback. ( Old review.. Needs lots of oil to work well. Head is flawless. The directional change mechanism isn't that smooth.

Excellent ratchet, haven
Excellent ratchet, haven,t used much because my old IR ratchet is still going strong after about 10 yrs of professional use. I am sure I will be using it soon though. Again, good price and shipped promptly.
