Really nice.
Got this to float and fish in a local pond. It's way better than the 300 boat I bought.

Good boat for the price
I get about one-two years of hard use out of these before the seams start to fail and they can no longer be patched. . Pretty good for $50. I’ve bought four so far and caught hundreds of fish and carried them hundreds of miles on my back. A must have is some Airstop PVC sealant(available on Amazon). You will get small leaks but they are easily patched. The included plastic oars are crap. They break with any real paddling effort. Intex sells some aluminum oars for cheap that are included with their bigger boats(Challenger 3). I bought a set and I’ve never broken them. I did buy a challenger 3 once and found the aluminum oars are way too short for the 3 man boat. They work just perfect for the two man version. Go figure! I have also tried the Intex Seahawk 2 boat. It is slightly bigger and heavier but the useless pole holders make it harder to roll up and fit in a backpack. The challenger 2 is 3 lbs lighter and just as tough. The orange Intex Explorer boats are much thinner and delicate. Not suitable for extended use or kid friendly. The PVC on them is so thin they cannot be pumped up tight enough to sit on the sides.

Came with a hole in it, but the patch kit was adequate.
It did have a patch kit, and so, I could use it, but QC at the factory could use a bit of improvement. Also, the one way valves may be an industry standard, but they were barely perforated and required modification before it could be inflated. I bought an electric pump to perform the task - using the pump provided would be quite a chore (probably a 1/2 hour venture...)

Quality Inflatable Raft
My son wanted a raft to use on a nearby lake. We decided on this Intex Challenger 2 Boat Set, because it had a 2-person capacity and came with the air pump, grab line, and 2 oars at a reasonable price. It features 3 chambers as follows... The 1st chamber is the inflatable floor. It is similar to an inflatable air mattress or pool lounge float. It has the standard plug with cap. The 2nd chamber goes around the perimeter of the floor and has a Boston Valve. The 3rd chamber goes around the outside of the raft and also has a Boston Valve. The raft can still float if one of the outer chambers is punctured (chamber 2 or 3). The Boston valves are nice because they have a 2-in-1 cap. Remove only the top cap to insert air, and remove the bottom cap to remove air. The dual-action air pump appears to be made from cheap plastic but worked well. It puts air in on both the fore and aft strokes. The raft came with 2 plastic oars that come in 2-pieces (plus a connector in the middle), and are 4-foot long when assembled. There are 2 oar holders on each side of the raft to store the oars when not in use. There is also an oar lock on each side to hold the oars in position while rowing. The front of the raft has a nice, large grab handle. The white grab line (rope) comes with the set, and is threaded around the perimeter through the black knobs around the outside and through the bottom holes of the oar holders. The first night we inflated the raft inside our home. The next morning we noticed the exterior 3rd chamber had gone soft. We tried it again and the same thing happened, albeit very slowly. The user manual did mention that if you pump it up during the warm day, and let it sit overnight, the cool night/morning air can cause it to go soft. Next, we took it to the lake to test it out for a couple of hours. It worked perfectly, and we could not detect any leaking air bubbles when we checked the top, bottom and sides by flipping it over in the water. We took it out again the following weekend and had another enjoyable day at the lake, and my son mastered the coordination required to row. After this 2nd trip we pumped it up again at home, and this time the raft was still fully inflated the following morning. Specs and Size: 2-person with a maximum capacity of 375 pounds. Size varies from the smaller back to the larger front of the raft as follows: * Exterior Dimensions: 92-inch Long x 14-inch High in front and 12-inch High in back. Width is approximately 44-inch across the front and 36-inches across the back. * Interior (seating space): 54-inch Long x 9-inch Deep, and 18-inch Wide across the front, and 16-inch Wide across the back. My son and I are both happy with this purchase and recommend this raft for those looking for an inexpensive leisure raft.

Great for price.
Took a while to process but once shipped had it in three days. Box was in tact and everything seems ok. It's winter and it is meant as a Christmas gift so we'll see come spring how it holds up.

Good Quality, Great Fun, Reasonable Price
Typical Users I recently bought this inflatable boat for fishing and playing around on lakes. The type of boat I bought is Intex Challenger 2 which is a 2-person inflatable boat. In the package I received, it also came with French Oars and High Output Air Pump. For me, as a novice of outdoor sports, this combo is very convenient. The reason I bought this inflatable boat is that it is really portable. When it’s deflated, the size is compact and you could even put it into the trunk of your car. What’s more, the price is reasonable-only $29.99 with free shipping, if you are a prime member of Amazon. Thus, I believe the ideal user for this boat is the people like me who likes fishing and playing around on waters but still on a budget. If you are this type of person, I strongly recommend you to buy one. Using Experiences The first time when I received the boat, I did not immediately went to lakes. Instead, I wanted to see how long will it took to inflate the boat. The result was decent. It took me less than 10 minutes to set up the boat. The only tool I used was a manual air pump came within the box. Couple weeks later, I brought it to a lake with my friend. Since the size of my boat is compact, we can simply put it into the trunk of my car which is very convenient. When we arrived at the lake, we then inflated the boat and started boating. These things are easy to be done because the boat is very light. Although the boat is only 92.9 inches long and 44.9 inches wide, it feels commodious. It could comfortably sits two adults and till feels roomy. If you plan to use this boat by one person, this is even more suitable for you. You could also put some fishing tools on the rest of the area. The durability of this boat is good. After several times of using-deflating and inflating over and over, my boat is still in perfect condition. Criterion of Evaluating and Rating The Criterion I use in my review are portable, convenience, durability, size, and price. I am satisfied about all the criterion. Thus, I’ll give this boat a five-star rating and recommend it to you. You will have a great experience with this boat. Enjoy!

Excellent value
The boat has 3 chambers for inflation, very safe. The 2 big chambers have quick release air outlet for squeezing the air out when you pack it back after use. The boat is big enough for 1 adult and 2 kids, perfect for calm water/lake use. The oars are very strong as well. Highly recommended.

Worth the money
Was looking at this for a while so when it came down in price a bit, I decided to take the plunge (metaphorically speaking). Off I went with my son like proper townies down to a nearby reservoir and set sail. We were still afloat after the first minute which I vocally considered a success. There is a technique to rowing which, after an hour on the water, I had yet to master. I spent more time going round in circles while trying to convince my son that's what's supposed to happen. Pleased with the sturdiness and robustness of it and impressed with what you get for your money. Nice little touches mean the oars won't drift away if you let go and they also clip on to the side of the boat. Doesn't take long to pump up using the supplied pump (5mins after the first practice). Good size for myself and my son (10 Yr) . You could fit 2 adults but would be a squeeze. Alternatives look a bit flimsy and are more for swimming pools but this is good for reservoirs, lochs, lakes and canals. Probably OK in the sea if sticking near the shoreline on a calm day but I reckon you need a certain level of ability to do that which I don't have. We'll worth it even if you were to only use it occasionally.

Great price, great little row boat
My 8 yr old son bought this with his own money. Typically we tow him in this behind our kayak as he doesn't have the stamina to keep up, plus he can row when he wants to or rest when he needs to. I am super happy with the quality and price. Would recommend, and easy to inflate. Solid unit.

Decent two person boat or luxurious one person boat
This IS actually a two person boat. Though it might not be greatly comfortable there is definitely enough room for two people. I have another two person boat that is significantly smaller than this one. But for one person there is an enormous amount of room inside the boat to sit or lie down, as well as plenty of space for a large bag or two. It seems to be a semi-toughened boat, being slightly thicker and tougher than a basic inflatable boat, but not quite as heavy and rigid as a toughened boat, which makes it a bit easier to pack away. It packs down with the oars and pump to about 35 litres if packed efficiently, however it's a very tight fit and I use a 45 litre backpack to carry it for a mile or two to the water, which allows for looser packing and extra items. I was glad of this because after using it in the water and then quickly packing it away in the mud it only just fit into the bag. Since it is a bit wider and much longer than my other boat I thought there would be a lot more drag and the boat would be slower but I really didn't notice any significant difference. I was already impressed by the boat before I used it, but after seeing how well it performs in the water I was even more impressed. There seems to be a gutter designed to collect any water that gets into the boat, so it doesn't end up right under where you're sitting! There are plenty of available loops all around the boat to tie things to for towing, mooring, stringing up a cover, a sail or any other modifications you want to make. The pump that comes with it works great, and the oars also are good except for the annoying lump in the middle. But of course you can just replace them, however it's not too bad so I'll probably keep using them. Overall it's a fantastic luxury boat for one person and their luggage that can easily carry a passenger, has a decent cruising speed (2mph or a bit less) and it's not extremely large and heavy so can quite easily be carried around in a bag.

Pretty cool
Pro's -very fast set up -high quality material -large enough for two adults to comfortably sit in -good price Con's -paddles aren't the greatest quality -awkward to use the paddles considering the size of the boat
