Nice product—better customer service.

Arrived DOA. Fresh batteries, installed correctly. Tried to reset per the user guide but no signs of life. So, I called the customer service number and after a brief discussion of the problem, I was told they would be sending a new upper unit (no need to send a new can) and that I needn't bother returning the dead one. The new unit arrived in good fashion and good working order. Now, it works a treat. The lid opens snappily and gives you plenty of time to make your deposit. Capacity is more than adequate for my home office. Changing the bag is a little fussy but at least there's no inner/outer can nonsense and there's no bag hanging out. A minor nitpick is that the bottom of my can is perhaps warped because it won't sit level and rocks a bit.

Chrome lid, bag ring doesn’t stay

I have 2 of these cans. 1 13gal square one for my bedroom, and I just bought the 13gal round one for the kitchen. These cans are a must for nosy dogs. The lid opening and shutting it enough to scare mine away, so I haven’t even had to use the slide lock. The new one says stainless but the lid is plastic chrome. Another thing that is different with the round one compared to the square one is the bag rings. They’re to hold the bag inside the can rather than just hanging out under the lid. The round one gets pulled inside constantly. The square one doesn’t. I’ve already thrown out the box, otherwise I’d exchange the round one for the square one

Sometimes glitches. The trash bags to use with are no good

Compact and good look for a trash can. Works good enough except for glitches at times. I bought the recommended trash bags that are no good in my opinion and crack easily.

It’s actually perfect

I took the bag holders out because they were a pain and unnecessary. I thought it was bigger from the pictures. However it ended up being the perfect size for my pantry. I feel like a Jedi when I use it.

Fits My Needs!

I purchased this item for recycling, oneside plastic - other side cans/glass bottles. Assembly was easy, no scratches or marks. Works well and looks great.

As advertised. Changing bags is time consuming.

Product is good quality, works well and is as advertised. However The bags are a pain to change compared to my previous garbage can. It not quick and takes much longer. Had I known this, I would not have bought it.

Meh. It's really small for the price. Seriously considering returning it.

Too expensive. Too small. When you pay this kind of money for a garbage can, you expect it to feel a little more sturdy. Also C batteries? Seriously? Just add a USB port and let us choose, and use AA batteries like most other products.
