Retake picture. Does not match the one on Amazon. Mine came in gray and black matte, so you need to change your picture that’s false advertisement.

No instructions and "intuitive" doesn't seem to work

I'm a very DIY guy. I've installed similar products as this in other places in my home, but this one, is an issue. So, I fixed a hole caused by a door handle and let it dry nice and hard. This product comes with no instructions and yes, normally I'd say it doesn't need it. However, other similar products are two-pieces: 1. the back piece you attach to the wall and 2. the front piece you snap onto the bracket on the wall. First, I couldn't separate the two pieces. I finally got a screwdriver and pried them apart. That's fine UNTIL you go to attach it to the wall. So, I used my own wallboard anchor because they one they provided was crap. I installed the anchor, then screwed in the bracket to the anchor--all good. When I went to attached the actual "bumper" piece, it wouldn't snap in. I had to push it so hard, it punched through my wall AGAIN! So, I fixed the wall again and two days later, I forced the bumper back to the bracket so that it was one piece, and then, rather than screwing it to the wall again and possibly ruining my wall again, I instead glued it to the wall with Gorilla Glue. I don't know if I got a bad one, or if it's just a terrible design, but I wouldn't buy this again.

Wall Bumpers/Stops Not Exactly Same Colors as in the Picture

I was really happy to find this item, as shown in the picture on Amazon, so ordered two of them. In the picture the rubber part looks to be beige/tan in color and the metal art looks to be bronze. Both items I received, had GRAY rubber, while the metal parts were correct. Why can't the picture match the items that are being shipped? I did install them, but really prefer the rubber parts to match the beige/tan base cove on our walls. Note: When installing, once the single screw is snug, the head of the screw will slip beneath the rubber part, which gives it a nice finished look. This item is of great quality, just not correct color per the picture. Hope this helps.

Perfect Match for Matte Black Hardware

Was replacing all my door knobs/hinges with matte black ones from schlage and these were a perfect match, easy to install and seem like they'd hold up well. I believe the old brass/chrome ones I was removing were schlage as well and they held up 30 years no problem, I expect no less than these.

Easy install

Ignore the negative post about no instructions. Just Google the brand, model number, and add the word "instructions". You don't separate the base. The unit stays in one piece. The screw goes through the rubber. It's super easy and there's no reason why anyone would end up putting holes in their walls if they would just take 30 seconds to look up instructions.

Wall/ Door handle bumper stop

Product was as described. All of these door handle bumper stops work better with a toggle bolt anchor. (See pic) This is especially good when you are covering a large hole. Overall I am very pleases with this product. It looks great and matches rooms decor. I plan on purchasing another.
