Glass storage containers

The containers are a good quality but the lids are very difficult to get on and off.

Lids don't snap together

Love the glass set. Love how the lid snaps tightly over the glass container and also how they rest perfectly over the container when you use it in the microwave to heat the stored contents. The lids do not however snap together for storing. We have the plastic set of Joseph Joseph as well and the lids snap perfectly together when stored. The glass set lids however are so study they will not snap together no matter how hard I try. I don't know if they are defective? or if they just don't fit together like the plastic set. This is annoying and would otherwise give the set 5 stars if the lids fit together for storing.

Lids do not fit

I love that these nests and store compactly. However I have not been able to get the lids to fit. You have to use a huge amount of pressure to even get part of the lid on. When I do secure a lid it then pops off later by itself. I’ve had several lids pop off after putting food away.

Nice nesting set

I was a little concerned with some negative reviews, but so far I like this set. The container is heavy duty. I was worried the lids would leak but it sealed almost too well - I had to ask for help getting the lid off. Arrived in perfect condition. Has not chipped (my Pyrex has over time) and I expect it will hold up just fine. Love that they completely nest with the lids.

the glass bowls with lids

the glass bowls themselves are wonderful, however the plastic lid on the larger bowl was received cracked and broken. this set is heavy, I ordered 3, 1 for myself, 1 for my daughter and 1 for my daughter in law. the first one I opened the blue lid was cracked and broken, only item damaged. the other two sets were ok. still waiting on seller to replace the larger dish lid.

Good quality and space saving

These are really thick/heavy glass food containers in a nice variety of sizes. It’s good quality and I love that they save space while storing because the containers and lids all nest nicely inside each other. They’re so good I ordered a second set!

Love the stacking design - but hard to impossible to snap the lids on

It's possible that I got a set of these with a manufacturing defect, but I simply could not get the side flaps of the lid to snap onto the large container, which is the one I use most. The smaller end flaps snapped OK, and that's enough to hold the lid in place under routine conditions. But I wouldn't want to put anything in it for travel - I'd be afraid the lid would come loose. The stacking design is really nice. So I'm not taking the trouble to send them back. The entire set takes up minimal room in my cabinet, and that is a big improvement over other food containers that I have used.

Do not buy this item

These were absolutely awful. From the beginning, The lids did not fit. Since then the glass bottoms have shattered in the fridge, wasting more money than the containers are worth. We would love our money back, but it is no longer an option. DO NOT BUY THESE. They are terrible.

Lids are a problem!

I thought replacing my plastic Joseph Joseph containers with glass one would be brilliant! Unfortunately, that isn't the case. The glass containers are great, but the lids are a HUGE problem. I ordered two sets of these and only 3 out of the 8 lids will go on without causing a brain aneurysm trying to push the other lids on...and even then, they won't stay on. I'm really unhappy because the plastic ones stain and hold onto smells and I thought the glass ones would solve that issue (and they have), but I've been gifted an entirely new issue to frustrate me.

Easy use

Great food containers, I didn’t like the snap locking ones because the snaps would break off. These are pretty good so far.

Joseph & Joseph, what's not to like?

Joseph & Joseph seem to have a good workable idea of what the customer wants and needs, from fun colours of the rainbow to the practicality of their collections you can't go wrong. These nesting glass storage containers have filled a void in my home that had been previously and poorly actuated by some cheap plastic containers. This is the 3rd Josephx2 product I've acquired to update old equipment. I'm in love.
