Great product for my 9-year old girl

Great product for my 9-year old girl. She's getting so good that the loom is not used anymore. The loom is cheaply made and really never was beneficial. The instructions seemed a little confusing and had to resort to YOUTUBE to learn most types.

My husband makes these by hand and when my daughter and myself saw this we knew it was the perfect "gag" gift for him @ Christmas. The joke was on us however, as he was very excited to receive and yes, actually uses it. LOL I guess it makes things easier. Either way it is a good product - not just for kids - but seasoned cowboys as well. LOL

Poor Instructions

Gave this Kit as a gift to a 10 year old girl. As a new paracord enthusiast with some experience, my opinion may be overly critical. That is not my intent. Jig (a.k.a "loom") is plastic and will, hopefully, hold up to use. The instructions are not very clear in teaching anyone, especially a child, how to make the knots required to make a few of the different bracelets. You will do far better going to YouTube for instructional videos on making paracord bracelets. That way the child can learn by watching not reading words written by a person who uses English as a 2nd language. The kit provides the minimum amount of paracord needed to make a bracelet; the recommended length of cord need is usually 12" for every 1" of writs diameter. It is a good starter kit for a young child to develop interest in making paracord bracelets and/or jewelry making. It is probably for at least an 8 year old with adult assistance; even 10 years old to be safe.

Not what I was hoping for

The loom isn't long enough to do what I wanted which was make my medium sized dog a 16 inch collar. But the smallest setting made a perfect sized bracelet for my 7 year old. Also it came with a defective clip.

Great starter kit!

The directions are difficult to follow, but it's nothing you can't search on YouTube. Overall, I consider this a great starter kit. Wish it came with more buckles and paracord, but it's a great start. It's a way to see what bracelet materials you like and then order more material.

My daughter loves this- and it was very easy for her to go through and understand the instructions. Wish I had these as a kid. Perfect for gifting!

grandchildren loved making bracelets, some instructions were difficult to follow, overall they completed the original paracord bracelet in about 10 minutes... great gifts for their siblings and friends.
