The inner coating does come off
For the price, this is a good wok. Unfortunately, the Teflon-like coating does scratch off easily. I took the advice of someone in the question/answer section and used a wire brush attachment on my drill to sand the inner coating down to bare steel. To keep it from rusting. I applied avocado oil to the inside and baked it upside down in a 500 degree oven for 45 minutes. Note: the long handle unscrews, so you can take it off prior to baking. Unfortunately, the handle on the other side is not removable. I covered it in aluminum foil but the short handle turned black anyway. Although it took a little time to fix it, I like it now and I use it all of the time. I removed a star because it wasn’t serviceable from the factory.

Non stick coated
I don’t know if I missed it in the listing or if it doesn’t say but this is non-stick coated (which I hate cooking with) I just wanted a steel one I could season. But it works well and it is a good size for my needs. I will use it until the non stick coating starts flaking.

Great At First But Wears Down Quickly
Great sized wok for the price. It has held up pretty well for the most part over this first year of use. I am a bit disappointed at how quickly the non-stick wears off even when cleaning it properly. All in all though it is still a decent wok for the price.

Nice weight and good quality wok!
First wok! Great size, good weight but not super heavy, cleans up nicely! So far appears to be very good quality. Love it!

Don’t use metal
Really love the size and it’s not too heavy which is great. I wasn’t thinking and used metal tongs in it and some of the coating came off. It’s probably my fault but it did come off really easily so be careful!

Pot surface treatment is important
The pot has proper surface treatment, it is very important for uses. I bought another the same pot but no surface treament before I bought this one. It was terrible. There was a lot of rust after the first time use. The rust cannot be clearly cleaned. This means we have to eat the rust along with our foods. It is terrible for our health. We had to throw it away and buy the one with surface treatment on Amzon.com. The pot with surface treatment is always clean without any rust. We like this one.

Nice carbon steel wok at at good price
The wok works well on my gas stove, easy to clean, and love the wooden handles. It’s a very good deal

Non-stick coating very thin and flakes off after a short period of use!!!!!
I purchased the wok 13 months ago and for the first 8 months it performed well. However over the last several months the non stick coating on the flat base began to flake of in small sections. Sometimes the coating flakes peeled off during cooking integrating into the food. The Wok is a base model with good heat distribution on a induction stove, however it has a very thin non stick coating. It is not made for med to high heat cooking, especially on an induction stove. Avoid it if you plan on using it for induction cooking.

Great, large wok
Large size, so great for big meals. A little heavy, but nice even heating. Handles can get a little hot.
