Heavy but gets the job done

We bought these for outdoor use and must say they look great when we bring them outdoors. They are heavy, really heavy which is good and bad. If you're alone and not strong enough to lift and place them then you might want to look for something else. If you have help or lifting is no issue then the heft of the lamps will hold up to a pretty strong breeze without turning over. They give nice light, more ambient than light you would use for task lighting. The glass cover that goes over the regular light bulb makes it such that you can use this outside. I would buy these again because they suit our needs and I do have help lifting them into place when we need them!

easy to assemble and fabulous outside lamp

I got 2 table lamps and a standing lamp, they all use the same assembly, the same light fixture around the bulb and a similar shade. The cord is coated and rated for outdoors. The fixture prevents water om getting to the bulb. The table lamps are as heavy as the floor lamps, but my floor lamp fell over in the breezeway during a strong monsoon gale. Nothing broke even though it crashed onto tile flooring - the materials are sturdy.

great outdoor lamp

This is my 2nd lamp. First one (of over 5 years) blew over in 50mph winds last week - Bought a new one. Great height, style but I plan to use a protectant on the shade as the other one was dirty. Great price too. Will buy another one in 5 years. l

Good purchase

I bought this for my screened porch which does get wet on occasion. The black wicker matches the black wicker on the furniture. Shade seems to be well made although it is not my preferred shape. The glass bulb that covers the actual light bulb fits well as seems thick enough to keep out any weather.

Bought 2. One was received and didn't work. Return and replace process was easy and quick. Be careful when unpacking in case you need to repack for return, the styrofoam breaks easily.

Very nice outdoor lamp with a coated outdoor cord, sturdy canvas style lampshade, and a glass weather seal that protects the lightbulb. Works great and very aesthetically pleasing.
