My second one

We had one of these at our previous home, and the buyer wanted us to leave it... so we bought another for our new home. It is probably not the best air circulator, but it looks really great, we get compliments on it from everyone. And it works in places that a regular ceiling fan won't fit.

Defective Design - Just Don't

Looks interesting but the design itself is defective. The plastic blades cannot be installed without applying truly massive amounts of force - even if they could be installed, because of the stress I doubt they would last more than a few months without breaking. Also threads are not properly cut and screws cannot be installed properly. And the instructions are simply wrong, telling you to use the wrong screw in the wrong location. Could not complete assembly and returning immediately. Will not consider another Kichler product - ever.

Perfect for small spaces

We sent it back, the fan didn’t move enough air, even on high. For the price it didn’t work well at all for us!

Shattered fan blades

The fan looks nice, and was easy to install, although you need to make sure you follow installation instructions for a fan vs. a light due to the weight. We installed it properly following the instructions. When we ran it the first few times it worked fine. Eventually, it started clicking after about an hour of use. Last night the fan made a horrible cracking noise and we stopped running it. In inspecting the blades we could see that all of them are cracked and one has a piece missing. In total we have used it for about 20 hours since the purchase date. Due to this malfunction after a short amount of use I would not recommend this fan. EDIT: After contacting the company directly, they were kind enough to send a second set of blades, which we are planning to install prior to using it again. Subsequently, I have changed my rating due to the excellent customer support from the company, which we appreciate since we like the look of the fan.

Perfect for a hallway or foyer!

I bought this fan in the oil-rubbed bronze finish a few years ago, but realized it would hang too low for the house I was living in. I held onto it, because I lucked out and got it for $188, and knew I wasn't staying in the house much longer. Having just moved in a new place with higher ceilings, I finally got it mounted in the foyer, and it's AWESOME!!! It's obviously not made to move a ton of air, but it's silent (even in 3rd gear), it does the job in my front hall, and it looks AMAZING!!! It's a great conversation piece. My only complaint was the colour of the blades, but I painted them black, and it makes a HUGE difference. I would recommend grabbing one of these, if you find it on sale. P.S. If you choose to paint the blades, give them a light scuff with sandpaper, before spray painting them. It was easy and really paid off.
