It's a five star rack which needs a few small tweaks
The tray is inadequate. It is too easy to misalign. I have wooden counters; so it is important to control water. If the tray is not placed just so, it leaks onto the counter. It needs to be a tad steeper; but the height of the outlet that hangs over my top-mounted farmhouse sink is good, and bad on most other racks I have researched. The tray also does not control all water even in the correct position. Any dishes hanging over the edge will leak onto the counter. not everyone has corian or similar waterproof surfaces. Even so, a drying rack should not dump water on the counter. The utensil inserts fall out of the rack when loaded. They should snap in to hold silverware. Otherwise, the rack is attractive, well constructed, and made of the right materials. Other than the negatives I mentioned, it was still close to a five star rating. Drying racks often have fatal flaws, such as plastic or paint covered wire racks that have plastic feet that catch and hold water, leading to early failure due to rust. Then there are many racks that have glasses and other items hanging beyond the protection of any water collection trays. The flaws on this rack are nuisances; but they can be dealt with by careful attention to dish placement and tray positioning. This is still a very good rack, and nearly worh the money. I don't think that there are any other racks available that do a better job at this time; so I am still glad to own one.

Nice Dish Drying Rack
I wasn't sure about this rack at first, but I've gotten used to it and it works well, plus has some nice features. Being able to easily remove the tray underneath without moving the rack is nice. The removable utensil basket makes it easy to carry to the drawer and put everything away.

I like it
I originally got the compact dish rack and it was way too small, so I exchanged it for the full size and it turned out to be a good decision, the rack is a lot bigger and very sturdy. I am very happy with it.

This is a rather large dish drainer and the side panel is
Good quality. Just my own personal weirdness that didn't like the appearance. Lol I actually don't like dish drainers - I think they are tacky. But we use ours so much that it is constantly out, so I thought I'd spend a little more and get one that I wouldn't mind looking at. But this was bigger than I expected and the shiny side panel with the brand name was just so, - I don't know how else to describe it but - OBVIOUS. Every time I looked at my sink area, it stood out. I don't really want my dish drainer to be the first thing you notice in my kitchen.

The best dish dish rack ever!
Not only is it attractive, it's well-made, and the pan actually slopes toward the sink so water runs off. Too many other racks have water collection pans that are even with the counter-top, and water collects and gets scummy. Worth the cost!

comfortable, tidy, and practical rack
I am very happy with this drying rack. It really tidied up my kitchen counter. It's comfortable and easy to clean and the size is perfect for my counter.

Sturdy, roomy, "legs" not positioned properly
First the positives: The KitchenAid full-size dish rack is sturdy and high capacity. It has a utensil holder that holds a lot of silverware. The drain pan is easy to remove and rinse off. Now the negatives: the four legs curve upwards, by design, so as to hold the drain pan in position. Unfortunately, one of the legs was not bent inwards (as it should have been), and was therefore not properly supporting the drain pan. Another one of the legs was positioned correctly but was curved upwards slightly more than it should have been and this did not facilitate proper drainage of water from the pan. Given that this is a high-end dish rack, I would have expected better quality control from KitchenAid. This dish rack, like the majority on the market, have the plates facing forwards rather than towards the sink. This design decision in combination with the goal of being able to put the rack on either the left or right side of the sink, led KitchenAid to make the plate supports perfectly vertical and not as tall as the supports on old-style dish racks that have the plates facing towards the sink. While this works for most plates, the plates are very close to being perfectly vertical, which makes it easier for them to tip forwards. And if you happen to own plates whose outer edges curve a bit, you could find that your plates tip forward no matter what you do. I view the shorter, perfectly vertical plate supports as a design compromise that could have been avoided with some more creative (outside-the-box) thinking. I ended up returning this rack and getting the Farberware full-size dishrack that uses the traditional layout (plates facing the sink), and costs half the price of the KitchenAid rack.

Great little rack
Great little rack for the price! If you live alone or are with a partner, then this is a great size! If you've got a family of three or more, it might be a bit small but it depends on how often you find you're doing dishes by hand. I'm not able to have a dishwasher so my dishes are done by hand every day and it holds everything I need it to.

This is a great unit, but not perfect
This is the best dish rack you can find at this price. Better ones are going to cost A LOT more money. So, I completely recommend this one to anyone that wants a VERY good dish rack that is spacious and well designed. The water leaks back into the sink properly (other ones I've had needed to be rigged in order to work). Most of it's construction seems sturdy, I've had it for a few months with no issues (others on here claim they have had issues though!). I can see that there MAY be some structural flaws that might ware over time (or if abused), but outside of that it is a great unit, it is not cheaply made and I think it should last long enough to live up to its price.

Compacte, robuste et très bien conçue!
J’aime cet égouttoir à vaisselle car il est bien conçu, peut contenir beaucoup de vaisselle et il prend très peu de place sur le comptoir.
