Deadbolt worked well for my mobile home

I only used the deadbolt part as the door jam is metal and strike plates could interfere if used in existing hole with anything in the way. I might adjust that later. But the deadbolt itself was the key instrumental piece to allow installation with mobile home conversion of a standard KwikSet deadbolt.

Works great on a metal shop door

I needed a bolt without the plate to use on a metal shop door. It also needed to be longer than the ones I could get locally. This works perfectly

Kwikset Aura

Had to buy this because the kwikset aura did not come with a drive in deadbolt. This worked perfect with the Aura and for my door snug. Thanks!

Just Call Kwikset

I bought this latch after getting a Kwikset 909 smart lock from Amazon. The provided latch for the lock wouldn't fit my door, so I had to get a drive-in latch. I ordered this one thinking it would do the job. Unfortunately, the latch was very poorly made. I couldn't even install it because of misaligned parts. I ended up just calling Kwikset. They were able to find the correct latch I needed, and also sent it to me for free because my lock had a lifetime warranty (which I did not know until they told me). I highly recommend that anyone in a similar situation call Kwikset first and see if they will send one out to you. Don't buy this unless you're willing to risk getting a defective product.
