Easy to use for toddlers

Still best for kids who don't break everything

Was briefly used when I bought it 1.5 years ago, then put away. 10 minutes out again and it's broken. Had to remove all screws to pull the tape back out because it got ripped off the end piece. Housing is still sturdy, but apparently the tape itself wasnt strong enough to endure a child winding too hard and the rivets tore through. I could replace the tape, but where am I gonna get that? If you have normal kids who don't test the absolute limit of everything's endurance, it'll probably last decades. If you have small destructors like I do, this is the best you'll find but it may not be enough. May the odds be in your favor.

Good but loud

Great little tape measure for my 2 1/2 year olds, but it’s unexpectedly annoyingly loud when it rolls back up.

A little hard to wind back up

Purchase this for my almost 3 year old grandson. He absolutely loves it and wants to take it wherever he goes. We've just had it a couple of days, so I'm not sure of the durability, but overall it seems like a good quality product. The size is nice for little hands. The only drawback I can see at this time is it's a little hard to wind back up. He's able to do it, but it's not as easy as I had hoped. Overall though, I think it's a great product for the price.

Super cute

My son has always loved his dads measuring tapes but I am always worried he will cut his hands on the metal. So this was a safe alternative! I wish it had a quick reel button like the real measuring tapes though. That’s the only down side.

Cute but SUPER loud

Our kid loves playing with this measuring tape. It’s a cute kids tool, and the crank on the side for winding it back up is neat. It’s very oversized compared to a regular measuring tape, which is actually nice. Unfortunately, when you pull the tape out and roll it back in it makes a super loud and obnoxious clicking noise. We likely won’t return it, but definitely regret buying it in the first place.

You probably didn't know you needed this

Perfect and durable for kids . They bring this along when they're helping dad with projects and don't always pull his part anymore . The measurements are accurate and the toy has opened the conversation for my 2 and 4yo old about measurement and estimating . We measure our feet , our body , books and boxes and we try to figure out what will fit in what box and they are quickly learning their double digits. 5* all around . Easy to wind up and like i mentioned before , extremely durable.
