Easy to use and durable
These are a great dexterity tool that can also be useful. They are large enough to use with multiple fingers if needed/while learning. The colors are nice and they look good. They can withstand lots of use and have strong tips to pick things up. The design allows them to have a kind of springy effect for opening which is good for learning as well. They open wide enough to use on larger objects too. For practice purposes these are a great learning tool.

Exactly what I expected!
These toddler tweezers are just what I needed to help with fine motor skills and color recognition. A little challenging for little fingers, but that's ok. It helps build muscles and patience.

Excellent product
I ordered these tweezers to use as a tool to practice fine motor skills with my kindergarten and first grade students. They arrived on time and the quality is great. The plastic is very thick and will last for a long time. Because they are so thick they are a little bit hard for some small hands to get around and to squeeze together but that is easily modified. I have come to like that they are a little more resistant to squeezing together because it works the kids hands muscles that much more which is what I wanted to begin with. The price and quality cant be beat. I am very happy with this product and since have had several other teachers in our building order the same product.

Easy Grip Tweezers
I wish I could write a truly positive review for this item. The name itself is a bit of a misnomer; although it's easy to hold them, they are far too stiff to be used to pick up small items with any accuracy. The package itself calls them "Jumbo tweezers . . . get a grip on fine motor skills." They are indeed Jumbo tweezers. They are just shy of 6" long and about 2 1/2" wide. The tips are about 1" wide at their opening. I purchased them to use with the "biggie" Perler beads and a pair of five-year-old girls who have excellent small motor skills. Unfortunately, it was far too difficult to pick up the beads with these tweezers . . . they are difficult to use with accuracy for small objects, even for adults. Mind you, they are bright and colorful and attractively packaged, but they are larger than I'd expected, and I suppose that's part of the problem. Although the package states that they can be used to "pick up buttons, beads and more," I think they'll be more useful (and used) for the job shown in the small photo displayed on the package . .. picking up bugs. :) You do have to hold them fairly close to the tip ends in order to really use them. And they would work as grip strengtheners, which is also one of the listed uses on the package ("strengthens muscles in the hands.") But I found them uncomfortable and awkward to use, personally. The girls (and their younger brothers) were very excited to see them . . . they are bright and colorful and attractively-packaged . . . but their excitement turned to disappointment with being unable to use them for the job for which they were purchased. However, they had plans to use them for outside "exploring," so perhaps their purpose won't be totally lost. As an alternative use, they might make handy clips for holding a picnic table cloth onto a table outdoors, provided the table is no more than about 1" thick.

TOO BIG FOR CHILDREN.
I purchased these; they are way too big and difficult for grade one students. This product is also not eligible for a refund even though the package is not open, and I purchased it a few days ago. I'm not very impressed.

Nice, chunky tweezers, surviving my Nursery children's handling well
Nice, chunky tweezers, surviving my Nursery children's handling well- no-one has managed to break any which is always a good sign! Great for fine motor development and strengthening hand and fingers- we often use them in our maths area and the children pick up items from our open-ended shelves to put into numbered bowls (things like buttons, rubber sorting items, pennies, beads, gems etc.).
