Kids are hard on play food. They want to bite it , throw it, and yes play with it to. This is a quality product for the money,

Not safe for 2 yr old
The chocolate covered pretzels my 2 year old pit in his mouth and nearly choked. While he was being supervised we were playing and it happened in a second. I had to toss those parts out. If your kid puts things in their mouths do not get this product, it’s too small for toddlers!

Cute set!
My daughter is two and she loves her "pretend food" as she calls it. I have to say these are much more durable than other similar products. They have a heavy feel to them. They are sturdy and I believe they will last many years. I read one review that mentioned the food isn't true to size. Well I can't argue with that when looking at the banana...and the carrot...oh and maybe the pear too...but everything else is just right...and my daughter doesn't mind at all. It's not as though it's confusing her. She pretends to feed her Cookie Monster doll and enjoys playing with this set.

Exceptional!
My two year old son absolutely loves playing with pretend food, and we have found all learning resource play food to be the highest quality. The construction of each piece is sturdy, and you can tell when you hold each item that there is a density to it that rivals all other play food. In addition, each piece includes subtle details that give the food a realistic look, which makes it easy for children to know exactly what the item is. I have found that learning resource food typically cost a little bit more; however, because of the solid construction, the food will hold up far longer than competitive companies.

Well-Made Product and Healthy Choices
Just received these today and I am very happy with the quality and look of the play food. I have a 14-month-old son and he recently received my old 1987 Little Tikes kitchen, so we wanted to buy him some accessories. I got tired of seeing things like hot dogs in every play food package, when those aren't healthy or things that my son even eats right now! This is the perfect mix of foods he is familiar with like crackers, cheese, bananas, carrots, yogurt, etc. and the food almost looks real! It seems to be very well made of a soft rubbery plastic, and my son has already chewed on the "food" without damaging it. I think we'll get a lot of use out of this set!

Realistic, durable, and worth the price
My toddler spent about 10 minutes, confused, trying to understand why these looked like food but didn't taste like food (he tried to bite almost every piece). These have been his favorite items to play with (after I convinced him they weren't real) ever since. Heck, even I enjoy "eating" the items he prepares for me that he "cooked" on his kiddie grill.

Great realistic, safe, fun play food!
These play food products from Learning Resources are GREAT!! They look real and my grandkids love playing with them more than any other toy food products I've tried. They are a bit expensive unless you find a good deal but the kids love how realistic they are!

Great quality product
Great quality for play food. Durable, and even promotes healthy, balanced eating. We ordered this and another food set by learning resources, as well as a less expensive set that was no where close in quality. If you're looking for play food for your kids, I highly recommend this brand.
