We love this set
This is acutally the 2nd set of these I have purchased. A friend who has played with ours mentioned her daughter would love to have one for her birthday, so we were happy to help. She loves it just as much as my son loves his. We got this set as a birthday present for my three year old. We specifically asked for this set because it came with a case, didn't have too many small parts, and was very realistic. We were not disappointed. My only complaint in the entire set, is the tool belt. It is too big for him and does not stay up well. But other than that, he loves playing with it. My favorite part is the case, makes it easy to clean up and store. My son loves every tool in there. But his favorite has to be the tape measure. He uses it all the time. The other day, Daddy metioned we needed to fix the chair. My son went and got his tool case and started to "drill" the chair! The tools are all sturdy. The "board" with the nails, screws and saw marks is really neat too. There are some small parts to be careful of. I would definetly recomend this set over anything else I have seen out there.

Captures imaginations, but poor quality
This set includes a case, hammer, two "nails," saw, pliers, wrench, two screwdrivers, two nuts, two bolts, electric drill with a drill bit, toolbelt, measuring tape, and a piece of plastic "wood" to designed to hammer, saw, drill holes, and screw the nuts into. The snap on the toolbelt doesn't stay shut so the toolbelt doesn't stay on; besides, even the tightest snap leaves the toolbelt too large for an average 3-year-old. The toolbelt also is made of plastic that's not quite as flexible as a toolbelt should be. The measuring tape is only held inside of its casing by a single piece of adhesive tape, so the measuring tape came out of its casing within minutes of play and can't be fixed without taking the entire case apart (which may be possible, as it looks likes its screwed together; I haven't tried it yet). The joint that holds the two halves of the pliers together is very weak and gets pulled apart all the time (it can be reinserted easily as well, but it renders the pliers not very useful except for decoration inside the tool belt). The "wood" is hard to use without someone else holding the wood for the child. All in all I was disappointed, although the idea of so many tools and a piece of wood to use them on was promising. I wish I knew of a better tool set out there.

Mostly fine
My son loves tools and I got these as excess so he had more to go with the tool bench he had. However within the very first day, he snapped one of the screwdrivers and has constantly been on the verge of breaking the drill. Just be prepared for them to not last super long.

Fun little set
I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. He just turned 3, and out of all the toys at the family dinner, this was the one he was playing with the most. It's fun and easy to get at, and besides getting the batteries in the drill, no assembly required. The tools themselves are what you expect. The case really isn't all too fancy and I can see them all just being tossed in there at some point without any distinct place, because the holders for each of the tools is pretty flimsy. Overall I really like it, but the reason why I got it was that it was a "tool belt" and that was the one thing I was not very happy with. The belt itself is plastic, and does not stay clipped together well for a 3 year old on the move. It's a cheap plastic belt basically, and that's why I wouldn't really recommend this for other folks. If you just want a fun little tool set with a box to put em in, go for it. If you're looking for a nice little toolbelt, look elsewhere.

Great fun for little hands
I bought this for my daughter's three year old birthday about six months ago, and she still pulls it out and plays with it. The plastic board has a really cool design where, when used with the drill, it appears to be drilling holes in it. Really fun! The drill looks just like a little (much safer) version of my Makita, and gets the most use by far. She also likes the screwdriver and hammer (doesn't every little kid like to hit things with a hammer?). Less so the wrench and nuts, probably because that requires more hand eye coordination, and is harder than using the drill. One annoying thing is that the drill bit comes off pretty easily. It is easy to stick back in, but when you do that more than once it gets old fast. Still, lots of fun to play with. Mine is has been going strong for six months and nothing has broken, too, so it seems to be pretty durable. I'd buy it again with no hesitation.

Good toy for the price
I got this toy for my 19 month old son for Christmas. He can't totally use all the tools, but he likes putting the screwdriver in the screws and turning back and forth, and running the drill (though he's not coordinated enough to use that with the "wood" piece. And he likes playing with the pliers and hammer. If he was too much younger, he'd probably only get use out of the hammer. But he can do something with pretty much all the tools except the wrench. The tools are plastic, and we haven't owned it long enough to know how durable they will turn out. But so far it's been a lot of fun for him!

Bought as a gift.
The tools are fantastic and are pretty resilient after a few months of use. The only negative I can think of is the tool belt is very difficult for a toddler to put on. It's made of a fairly rigid plastic and requires an adult to help.

Great learning toy
Great learning toy! Everything came as per the photo. My only thing is that the tool let is a bit large for toddlers, and because it is make of a fairly stiff plastic, it has to really pressed/folded down to fit back into the shallow case that holds all the tools.

My son LOVED this set
My son LOVED this set. I wish the tool belt fit smaller, but otherwise it was amazing. Still a favourite toy in our home.
