Poor fit, but as expected for the price

The legs are different lengths, which creates wobble on a hardwood floor. Be prepared to McGiver it to level. Some of the supporting structure is MDF, not solid wood. I came into this purchase with low expectations given the price. My expectations were met.

Nice table for a reasonable price.

I bought this table to replace a wicker table and a TV folding table I had next to my easy chair. I like the fact that it has a drawer to store my unused remote units. The drawer has a metal slider which allows you to open the drawer fully to its full length without falling out.The bottom shelf is also convenient to keep infrequently used items. I would have given this item 5 stars, but the unit arrived with no hardware (12 each bolts, flat washers, and lock washers) for mounting the legs and bottom shelf. Also the box appeared that it was previously opened and repackaged. I did not find any damaged to the wooden items which include the table top/drawer unit, bottom shelf, and four legs. Rather go through the hassle of sending the unit back, I determined the hardware (which is standard) that was needed and purchased it from a home improvement store. The bolts mount at a 45-degree angle through holes in the four corners of the table top and bottom shelf. The legs have pre-installed threaded metal inserts to accept the bolts. Two bolts mount in each corner at the top table unit and one bolt for each corner of the bottom shelf (12 total). I spray painted the hardware with black paint, even though you probably can't see it anyway. Also the bottom shelf was a little tricky to get the bolts to align up, but I managed to get it done. The hardware needed is 12 each 1/4" x 20 X 2" bolts or screws, 12 each 1/4" flat washers, and 12 each 1/4" lock washers. Jan 9, 2015 I'm revising my review and upgrading this unit to 5 stars. While I was cutting the box up that the table came in and placing the cardboard in the recycle can, I found the missing hardware in a red bag that was taped underneath one of the cardboard flaps. So the missing hardware wasn't missing after all; just concealed where it wasn't easily visible. Since I already put the table together, I put the bag in the drawer of the table.

PERFECT!!!!

I absolutely love this table! I was very hesitant in ordering a piece of furniture over the internet, but I am so happy I stepped out of my comfort zone and did it. It is exactly what I wanted, and beautiful as well. I have been looking for over a year for a table of this size, quality, sturdiness, nice looking, affordable, having the lower shelf for my cpap machine, and still have the full use of the table top. The drawer is an added bonus. I live on a fixed income, but I didn't want to buy something that I just had to settle for, because it was inexpensive.. All the tables like this that I found in department stores and furniture stores were 2 or three times the cost as this one. It arrived in perfect condition, no marks or scratches. It was sooooo easy to put together, and everything lined up perfectly. It is a high quality, beautiful piece of furniture. It is solid wood and very sturdy, there is no wobble at all. The drawer is well made, and comes out all the way which makes it easy to find what you're looking for. I am so glad I waited to find exactly what I wanted! Thank you

This table was also super easy to assemble

I was hesitant ordering furniture online, but the reviews helps persuade me to give these tables a try. I ordered one of these and two of the chair side tables. The first of this larger end table arrived damaged: a corner of the box was dented, resulting in a corner of the table top also being dented. I got the replacement, and part of the assembly for the drawer was not secure. A little wood glue and a couple of extra screws I had on hand fixed this (I did not want to go through the return process yet again). This table was also super easy to assemble, I did it in short order by myself. Color is very accurate to the pictures online, a very warm cherry-colored dark brown.

Elegant and Utilitarian

Solid wood, stable on its legs, and beautiful. The wood grain is visible even in the deep cherry finish, which glows with a warm reflective quality. It is not difficult to assemble but does require patience and dexterity; what I mean is it is a heavy solid wood table and even though small, one must balance the table top on its side while attaching legs (and then the shelf!). It can be done alone (I, a petite female did it!) if one possesses some upper body strength and is not easily frustrated. Sometimes the little Allen wrench slips from the screw top! Also, please assemble in bright light because you will need to attach the legs and screws into dark corners (angles) of the table! When it was assembled, I was thrilled. This was my second Leick Laurent piece (I also purchased the companion console table, which is exquisite, though doubly difficult in assembly.). It is classic, classy, adds elegance to any room, and utilitarian.

I am marking this as a five star, I love it with the exception of two "minor" scratches on the top. Which were made to look better with polish. I searched the internet over, and many local stores, trying to find a quality end table. This by far is the best out there. Local stores had some nice tables but at twice the price. I am so happy with this internet purchase. The quality of wood and finish is superb. I would not agree with with someone else's review of the color being "almost black." It is a rich dark brown with hints of red and deeper browns. Maybe with the stain being hand applied it makes a difference? What sold me to even think about buying this, was the reviews and the detailed description of the quality of the furniture. The price could not be beat.

Expensive looking table

Packaged extremely well. Assembly was easy with two people. As others advise, only screw the legs loosely, then have one person hold the shelf, while the other attaches it. Then tighten all screws. The finish is very nice, and it looks far more costly than the price. I also own a TV cabinet by this manufacturer, and they make a quality product.
