Amazing toy, best fine motor purchase
Amazing toy, best fine motor purchase I have done in a while. My special needs sob is very interested in this toy. It’s not over stimulating which makes it easy for us to learn the pincher grasp skill that we have been struggling on for a while. He is starting to pinch his foods and small beads but this toy is larger to pinch which seems like it requires more strength and skill. It is perfect for building his skill! It also is nice for him to hold and just press the squishy parts when he is watching tv or just relaxing

One of the best toys I’ve bought in a while
This has to be one of the best toys I’ve bought in a long time. I work with kids with ASD, and this toy is phenomenal for fine motor. My clients love it! I have a few they carry Dottie around under their arm and treat her like a sensory toy (like one of those poppers). It’s great for so many things, I love Learning Resources!!

Christmas gift
We got this for my 19 month old and she LOVES it. It’s smaller and easy to bring with us. We went on a road trip and the cow came with us for entertainment

Sturdy toy
Seems like it will hold up well. Made of durable material. Easy for a 1 year old to push in and pull out the poppable pieces.

Dotty the Cow will help develop fine motor skills but costs a lot more than a few beans, Jack!
I was intrigued by this fine motor skills cow and ordered this to use in my Nursery Play Room. The cow itself is a good size for toddlers - it sits well on a table top or floor and is sturdy with a cute cartoon style face. The sides and back of the cow are covered with rubber dots that have square quills to push the dots in and pull them out again. In the advert, the manufacturer talks about this being a shape matching toy, and I had thought that these rubber dots might come out so that the child could sort them and put them back in place. However, this is not the case - the dots remain fixed in Dotty the Cow's side but the rubbery nature of the dot can be pushed in and pulled out, similar to fidget pop toys. This was a little bit of a disappointment for me, as I would have liked this toy to offer a variety of play strategies. However, this toy does encourage fine motor skills with it's pull and push nature, and I have to say that the children in the 12 - 18 month room of the Nursery I work at really enjoyed exploring Dotty. The different colours of the dots do encourage colour recognition and the toy is very sturdy and well made. However, for me I felt that the price of £21.00 was a bit expensive for a toy that really doesn't offer as much as first appearances suggest.

Great educational toy
The media could not be loaded. This is such a great toy for babies and toddlers! It's an educational toy, they can play with that to improve fine motor skills, learn about colours or action and result. Our little one loves anything to do with pressing buttons so this one has been a hit. She presses the buttond in and pulls them out again. It's quite satisfying. She loses interest after 15 minutes as with all toys but she plays with it every day. We are learning colours at the moment and she is improving. We definitely recommend it for ages 12 months +.

A novel idea for young hands
The media could not be loaded. Just the type of toy for developing a young child’s motor skills, including grasping and pushing, also recognising colours. It’s been robustly made and doesn’t need any batteries, as it doesn’t make any annoying sounds, other than the pop when pulling a coloured bubble. I thought this was going to be a shape game, ie put the shape in the right coloured place, but it’s more like the new poppers game, the child pulls and pushes the coloured bubble. A great novel idea that I’m happy to recommend.

Fun simple concept toy for toddlers
The media could not be loaded. Building on the idea of the popular fidget toy this is great for toddlers improving their fine motor skills. My 19mth old loves the colours and the fact that it's a cow and loves pressing the different bits in. It's quite expensive but this is a really good quality toy and would expect it to last well.
