Quick delivery easy installation
It was very easy to install. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the ice maker that came with my new refrigerator should have lasted longer. This is an exact replacement for it, so hopefully longer lasting.

this product is an exact replacement for my ice maker and started to make ice within two hours of installation. installing the new ice maker is very easy, two screws and a plug need to be removed/installed to swap ice makers. note that there is a small square test button on the bottom of the ice maker motor compartment. pressing this button will allow you to test the new ice maker. after pressing the button the ice maker will cycle thru a harvest and refill with water. a great way to be sure everything is in proper order. after examining my failed ice maker it is clear that the wires for the thermistor sensor failed due to metal fatigue. the wires are bent each time ice is harvested from the tray. after a couple of years of ice making one of the two wires broke.

Great unit and easy to install
We LOVE this new ice maker. It actually works much better than the original factory installed unit did. It makes more ice and they are bigger cubes. Not often that you comment on how an appliance is working, but we marvel at this one frequently. My husband put it in easily. He is mechanical, but it just snapped in. The biggest issue was taking the door off the freezer. The new unit was no problem

Easy to install but broke again in under 2 years
This was a great DIY project at first, the installation was a little cumbersome but not difficult and I saved a lot of money by installing myself. 1 year and 11 months later, it's broken and the warranty is only good for one year. It might still be worth the money compared to having a service technician replace it, but it's very disappointing for it to last under 2 years and not covered by LG.

Working like it should
We've been using this for a couple of months now and it is working great. Our original had become sporadic and wasn't working reliably. The replacement was pretty simple and only took about 5-10 minutes with a screwdriver. It's been churning out ice cubes daily ever since then. UPDATE - Jul 2020: I've since had to buy another one in Jan 2019. Still easy to replace and does the job. The second one doesn't seem to make ice quite as fast as the first replacement, which I can't explain since no settings were changed on the fridge, but it is more in line with what is normal and will hopefully last longer because of it. It sure beats paying for a new fridge.

Cheap, Fits Perfect, Makes Ice
Perfect fit, as advertised, for LG LFC25765SB model. Much cheaper that "geniune" LG site or large appliance part resellers. Can confirm, it makes ice. Nice to have full cubes again instead of shattered splinters. Installation is easy enough, just Google up a video tutorial. The plastic snaps that hold it to roof of freezer and the power connector were most frustrating steps of installation.

Easy Installation
Works great. There was a small plastic arm that I had to take off my broken one and put on the new one. Other than that super easy to install. Plug and play. Two screws.
