Works a little slower then our last one
This is the second version of this we've purchased, as the original one broke. The look and feel of this is far superior than most water filters, and we have no qualms leaving this out on our counter. The inclusion of the rubber/silicone bottom is an excellent addition, as our last model was just plain glass, which would make you uncomfortable putting it down on a hard surface. The additional color ways is a nice touch, too. The only issue we've encountered is the speed at which it filters water and pours. The former may be due to the newness of it, but the later seems to be caused by a difference in the spout design. Otherwise, it's a great product. Side note: We are located in Las Vegas, which has famously hard, and minerally tasting water. This removes all traces of that metalic, and dirty taste, and leaves you with pure, refreshing water.

Takes forever to get water thru filter
Works well and large but takes forever for water to pass thru the filter

This Will Ruin All Other Water
Heard about this from a newsletter, then found out my coolest friend already had one. This is a pricey pitcher, but once you taste this water, all other water will taste like dirt. I'm trying to limit new plastic purchases, so appreciate the glass option. It does take a while to fill since you can only filter around 1.5-2 cups per session, but for my household of one it's fine. I usually just load up a new batch as I pour myself a glass. This replaced one of those huge water filter troughs, but I find I'm more consistent about drinking water because the style catches my eye. Would love more colors. Will probably be buying as gifts along with the water bottle version.

I think I’m kind of in love with this pitcher!
I have arthritis and carpal tunnel in my hands, and after reading the reviews, I was very skeptical of this pitcher, but I decided to give it a try. Yes, it filters slowly, and I wish it were a little shorter with the handle placed lower, but even with all my hand problems, I was surprised I don’t mind handling it. The water tastes better than the Brita, so I’m drinking more water! I gave away my Brita, and bought a second LifeStraw- one for the countertop, and one for the refrigerator. The weight difference between the plastic and glass pitchers isn’t all that noticeable. The glass pitcher comes with the silicone base, but I bought a base for the plastic one after reading reviews about it cracking. The lid design is rather clever how you can fill it without touching the lid. Just be patient the first couple of times filling it. It gets better, and to me it’s worth it. The best part is that I drink a lot more water! I’ve never been able to drink water in the morning - till now.

Purchased for Friend
This product is for the most part great. However the claims that it removes plastic particles seems absurd since the filter is plastic.

A need not a want!
With all that’s going on with the bad stuff getting into our water sources, it’s safe to say every household needs an added layer of protection with their drinking water! I used this brand when I traveled to countries where it was dangerous to drink the water. Now I’m happy that there’s a pitcher version for my kitchen!

Great taste
I love this pitcher. Water is delicious! However, it takes a long time to filter, and the reservoir for water to be filtered is rather small, maybe a glass size. So if you want a full pitcher you have to constantly filling it.

Love this filter
We ordered this water filter pitcher to avoid having our water sitting in a plastic container. So far it’s wonderful! Would buy again.

Defective filter and company is ghosting me
At first I was excited about this water filter. I followed all the setup instructions but the membrane filter was so painfully slow that the process still wasn't done 24h later. 3 weeks later it hadn't become any faster. I timed it and a drop fell every 50-51 seconds, meaning that I only have 3/4 cup of filtered water 9 hours after filling the membrane filter holder... The return/refund page on Amazon for this product only directs to the Lifestraw website for support so I contacted them regarding the issue. They replied quickly and said they'd send me a replacement membrane filter and a bonus carbon filter if I sent a picture of the batch number that's on the filter. Perfect, right? Except that I've replied with that info 2 MONTHS ago and I still haven't had a reply to my several emails and I have yet to receive the replacement filter. Surprise surprise, the company's phone number is nowhere to be found on their website. Bad experience overall, you can play russian roulette and take the chance on getting one of their filters that is fine but know that you risk getting one of their clogged defective filters and you will just lose your money.

Filter Design flaw
It looks nice and is functional. However the filter compartment can only hold about 2 cups at a time. So if you empty the jug, you have to put water in it four more times before you get a 'full' jug and it takes nearly half an hour for all that water to go through. They only want you to put 7 cups in the jug at a time (to the bottome part of the handle) I use nearly all of it in the morning with coffee and getting my water bottle for the day, ice cube trays etc so I have to add the filling of the water jug four times to my morning routine. Also I purchased a glass container because I didn't want my water sitting in plastic, but the filter casing is plastic and sits in the water so I should have saved my money and purchased a plastic one.

Best water filtration system ever
It filters faster and faster ever time. I bought it because there is absolutely no plastic touching the water and it’s made in South Korea, not China. I drink after 6-8 glass of water a day and refill it right after I pour a cup. I feel sad for those people who say it’s “slow”; however, this water pitcher is for one-two people, not a family or camel.

Works well
It is slow at filtering the water. But I think this is a good thing. I think you’re getting more contaminants out of the water .I use a extra glass pitcher and to it in batches

Flat water
This water filter does not retain or add back minerals. Water is totally flat. I’m sending it back
