If measurements are important to you, you should pay attention here. The heading on the listing states that this is a 3 foot light. Ok, 3 feet is 36 inches. Well, that is the exact length of light I needed. Exactly 36 so it could sit on top of my 36 inch wide aquarium. That would be the length I would need for it to rest easily on each side directly above my plexiglass hood. Well, after receiving the light I noticed that it isn’t 36 inches. It is only (( 33.5/8 )). Even the box it comes in says it’s a 3foot light. Ok, I understand them wanting to just classify it at an average 3 foot, but those of us that takes measurements seriously, we need to know what the numbers actually are, not a ballpark. I guess I was even lucky to get it in working condition after receiving and the box was crushed in transit. Shipping box was crushed, and the interior box the light was packaged in was crushed. Fortunately, the light was not damaged at all. But a little packing material or bubble wrap would have been a nice addition. Listen, this light is easily a 5 star product, and giving it a 5 star would be easy enough. However, I gotta pull back and give it a 4 star for the measurement discrepancy and the bad shipment packaging. Will I still be able to use this even though it’s shorter than I need? Yes, I will just have to do some end rigging. Would I suggest this light to others? Yes, but only if they know the length isn’t exactly 3 feet. It’s a nice light weight, slim line light and Its super bright. It is worth the price. ...But something else to note is that this light has no on/off switch at all. No switch, no rocker or toggle. So you might want to buy a power switch that plugs into to lights power cord, unless you plan on running this on a timer like I do. The whole light fixture doesn’t even feel like it weighs a pound. Very light. So you shouldn’t have any issues with it being too heavy for placement, mounting, or hanging. Just hope it makes it to you without being crushed during shipment. I hope this review helps some of you out wanting more details.

Reliable and BRIGHT!

I've had 20 of these LED fixtures for over a year and they are all still working with no problems! These are BY FAR the most inexpensive LED fixtures considering how super bright they are (3000 lumens). They provide plenty of light to cover my 2000 square foot warehouse, and were the best priced option to cover that much space with a lot of bright light. They come with hooks and chain to easily hang from the ceiling. The power cord is plenty long. There is no pull string or switch, but I didn't need one, as I have mine connected to a light switch. I will buy more of these when I need to light more spaces.

Works for grow lights for my seedlings

I bought two of these to use for grow lights for my seedlings. They seem to be working fine. I had several seedlings that popped through the soil within a few days. We will see how they continue to grow. This is my first time trying to grow garden plants from seeds, so i am by no means a expert on what kind of light is the best. I have these hanging from a wire shelf above my seed trays and they are plugged into an outlet timer. They do not have an on/off switch, but that is not a problem for me as I knew i was plugging it into an outlet time.

By a miracle it survived getting here...

This is a good light recommended by a professional gardener, so I know it's good. However, the light came in it's own box, but was packed in a huge box with no packing around it. Both ends were open and it's a miracle it still lights up being it flopped around inside the big box with no protection. No fragile was written on the outside of the box. This is not the light company's fault, it's the Amazon packers who shipped it out.

Smaller width but bright

Seems to be well made. I wish it had a better hanger mount instead of a single plastic tab on each end. Note that it does not have an outlet to link other lights to it.
