Good for normal skin

This is probably fine for someone who has normal, non acne prone skin. For me, it didn’t do much to control oil or breakouts. But again, if you have normal skin this is great for you! I tried this because I LOVE Mario Badescu and will continue to use their other products, this one just wasn’t what I needed.

After several months, noticed an amazing difference in fine lines

At first , found this too drying. Then in the middle of sweltering monsoon summer began using it - and suddenly realized several months later I really like this. Just re-ordered. Really believe it's reduced some of my aging fine (and some not so fine) wrinkles. Worth keeping with it awhile to see what it can do for you.

Amazing Results!

This is an amazing product! I had menopausal acne that just would not go away. I felt and looked like when I did in high school, and not in a good way! I tried so many products. I would get lucky with one, only to be disappointed when my break outs would just keep coming back. Someone recommended this product to me. I ordered some samples and within days I looked so much better. My breakouts are not as bad anymore. I use this every single evening before bed and the results are incredible! I recommend all of the products from this line.

Effective, Leaves My Skin Feeling Clean

*Banana for scale* I have a moderate skin type that can be oily/dry depending on seasons. This face wash leaves my skin with a clean feeling like the feeling of just using a peel or a mask. I don't really identify a certain scent other than a soap/clean smell. It is a gel so it doesn't get sudsy on my face. I just those silicone face tools to wash my face and it works well with that. Overall, I am very satisfied with this face wash. I don't use it every day as I cycle between two Mario Badescu products but it is gentle enough that I could.

This is a very effective cleanser if used twice daily. I have to admit that I get lazy at night when it comes to thoroughly cleaning my face. But when used as directed, my face feels smoother and cleaner. I also use a Konjac sponge along with it in the warm summer months to get rid of excess oil. Lastly, a helpful trick I've been doing, is applying this gel to my face while it's dry and letting it sink in while I'm in the shower. It seems to be more effective that way and my skin feels squeaky clean without dryness after.

Smells great works great but....

Great face wash but for someone with a little oilier face than me. Maybe I can use this in the summer months.

I love MB Botanicel Facial Gel!

This product has worked miracles for my overoilyacneblackhead (<-- that's a real word) prone skin. It has a nice not overpowering flower smells and removes make-up, dirt, and oil very well. I have recommended the MB line to everyone I know regardless of their skin concerns. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find something that works for me. In fact this is my skin care regimen: (All MB products) botanical gel, the special cleaning lotion, buffering lotion, drying cream, drying mask, and drying lotion. The only skincare product I don't use is my moisturizer and that's only because I haven't run out of my current one.
