Love this suit!

So, I just got it out this week (after having it a bit while waiting for my last suit to wear out). First off I love the way this suit fits! There is no tugging or adjusting necessary after putting it on or during my work out in the pool. I wear it at the YMCA for a water aerobics class I attend 3 days a week, so the no adjustment necessary part is a key factor. I also imagine it would stay secure for light lap swimming as well, though I have yet to do that in this suit. This pool seems to be more highly chlorinated than some I've been in and have typically gotten about 3-4 months out of other suits. I will try and update this review again once the suit has seen that amount of wear to speak to aspects like colorfastness and other wear patterns.

UPDATE on review made last week

I am leaving most of this review because it is still true.......however........I assumed all of the Maxine of Hollywood suits had adjustable legs which is why I loved this suit so much.......well I was wrong.....I have received one other Maxine suit and it does NOT have adjustable legs. I am awaiting the other one I ordered, but I am sure it too will NOT have an adjustable leg. The reason I am so sure, I went directly to the Maxine of Hollywood website and when I typed in adjustable leg, my suit and 2 others were the only styles that had the adjustable leg. The one I received today is going back because like all the other suits I tried on, the leg hole is too big for me!!! Darn....Here is the original review: Finally after 9 swimsuits on the try before you buy plan..... I found one that fit. The girls would fit on top then the leg opening would be huge! MAXINE OF HOLLYWOOD, gets it............I am 5'4" 170lb size 14 bottom and 38DD top. So to get the top to fit the bottom was too large or the bottom fit perfectly but the top was too small. The adjustable leg elastic is fantastic. I am about to order 2 more!!! The material is nice, the fit is nice I ordered a 16W. Cups are comfortable and no hang out in the armpit . Many other brands the 16 was too small and the 18 too large. Some with XL or XXL was a real fiasco......no one understands large busted flat fanny figures!! FOLLOW UP ON THIS REVIEW: PS I am really disappointed that the original suit is the only one on Amazon with the adjustable leg!!! 2 more are on the Maxine website, but more expensive plus you pay shipping to Maxine.

Poor Dye Quality

Although item fit well, it faded and lost most of its cold within the first month. The photo shows how much it had faded in 3 months of wear.

Excellent quality and fit!

I have been buying this brand of bathing suit in a certain department store for many years.. they stopped carrying it. I was thrilled to find Maxine of Hollywood on Amazon at a much cheaper price than I had previously paid. :) it fits true to size.

Totally hppy

Order this and a suit from Belk. My hubby said this one looked better and it was more comfortable to boot! Totally happy. We all know how difficult it can be to find what fits correctly and looks good too

I love this suit.

Being a fat old woman makes finding a suit that fits 4x a challenge. I swim 3 days per week so having a good suit is important to me. This suit is perfect. The colours are great, I could do without the gold. It fits perfectly. The legs are not high cut, the ruching is just right, the straps are wide enough, the front & the back are not too low. Sooo comfy. I plan on ordering another & the one pictured is actually my second suit. Another Great bathing suit.

Leider wurde der Badeanzug, ein Geschenk für meine Tante, in der komplett durchsichtigen Badeanzugsverpackung verschickt. Der Nachbar, der die Sendung angenommen hat, konnte alle Produktinformationen sehe: Um was es sich handelt, Produktbezeichnung, Größe, alles. Für die normale Verpackung des Anzugs wurde darüber keine wie üblich undurchsichtige Papierversandtüte oder ein Papierkarton benutzt. Datenschutz gleich null. Die Größe war trotz vorheriger Umrechnung der US-Größe in die europäische viel zu groß. Amazon sollte mehr darauf achten, daß sich die Verkaufenden auch an die Datenschutzrichtlinien halten was die Verpackung von Artikeln betrifft. Ich hatte so etwas schon mehrmals, daß für die Produktverpackungen auf denen alles stand keine weitere neutrale Verpackung hinzugefügt wurde.
