Great comfortable flattering suit
It is hitnor miss with batingbsuits online- this is a hit. It is comfortable (i do not like the kind that tie behing my neck) and the straps are removable and adjustable. I feel confident in this bathing suit. That says a lot!

Great quality, but overall, an odd cut
Maxine Of Hollywood Women's Standard Bandeau Swim Dress One Piece Swimsuit My wife loves swimsuits that feel free and are not constricting in design. This swimsuit seemed to be exactly what she was looking for. The color and fabric were spot-on, and even after its initial wash, the swimsuit held up perfectly. The issue my wife has is in the overall cut. It felt like the front and back were not aligned and the chest area was uneven. Now, that could be just the swimsuit she received, but it felt like quality control may have been lacking in the making of this suit. If those issues can be fixed this suit would be perfect. However, until then, three stars.

Cute, youthful swimsuit with some construction quirks
Browsing Maxine of Hollywood's various swimsuits and marketing materials proclaiming "you've still got it", they seem aimed at a more mature audience, with classic floral prints and cuts that match. Despite being no longer a teenager, I don't think I ever "lost it", Maxine; I do most of my swimwear shopping at plus-size vendors targeted at the 18-32 demographic and aim for flirtier designs, but this specific swimsuit design caught my partner's eye, and I agreed that the solid color design with white accents and a fun skirt gave it an all-ages appeal, so we decided to give it a try. It's indeed quite cute in person! But there are a few construction issues that kept it from being a five-star home run for me. This swimsuit is easy to take on and off and comfortable to wear, made out of reasonably nice feeling materials. It comes with adjustable/removable straps that convert it between a one piece and a bandeau top, which makes it easy to sunbathe while avoiding tan lines; I'm not sure I'd hop in the ocean for a long swim without the straps, but it doesn't feel at risk of easily falling down - I hopped around and everything stayed where it belonged with the suit only slipping a tiny bit. For lazing around the pool it certainly works, and I appreciate the flexibility. The bottom is a little bit less perfect than the top. The skirt is attached in a bit of an unusual location: it falls halfway down the posterior, and lower on the front than similar skirted swimsuits I've previously owned. It's a design that's likely to be more flattering for some body shapes and less for others - it did work out okay for me, but may be a bit polarizing. The groin of the swimsuit is also cut a bit awkward - in particular, there's a little extra unwanted fabric at the bikini line, as if these were 80% bikini bottoms and 20% boyshort bottoms. It's not enough to offer extra coverage and feels more like a patterning mistake than an intentional feature of the garment. This could be a symptom of my more general feeling that the bottoms feel a bit too large and long compared to the rest. I wish the suit had a bit more structure, particularly in the top, and I wish the structure that is there was constructed a little differently. There is boning on each side of the suit to support it in bandeau mode, but it's only sewed flat on one side, meaning it can rotate in an uncomfortable way. Worse, the boning is about a half inch to an inch too long, resulting you getting poked by it when it rotates. It's not a dealbreaker, but if I were consulting on a new version of this, I'd definitely want to make some changes in that area. All in all, this is a flattering swimsuit that works for a wide variety of body shapes with a few construction issues. While I'd like to see a few bug fixes, this has definitely been adopted into my closet and will be part of our my beach vacation.

Quite comfortable but...
I gotta say that I'm very surprised that this bathing suit fit so well. I've read many a review about plus size clothing that described items not fitting well but this suit was definitely on par with American sizes. It's actually very comfortable and well made. The suit really is impressively slimming as the description states. I would actually be comfortable wearing it in public without a t-shirt which I haven't been able to say for many years. The straps that go over your shoulders are adjustable as well. I think that fact is particularly important because I've had a few suits in the past where the straps wanted to slip off. We're not all made the same, after all. If I were to change one thing about the suit it would be to make the underwear portion a little tighter fitting. But then again, my rear end is rather flat and I think that's why there's a little loose material. I may have been better off going one size down. I usually wear a size 28 so I got the largest size they had available which was 24. I don't get on the scale regularly but a few friends have said it looks like I've lost weight recently. My pants do seem to be a little looser these days but it's hard to judge if that's because of a slimmer tummy or material stretching and wearing out. If you prefer your clothes a little snug then I'd say order one size smaller than you normally would. All in all, I can't deny how shocked I am to have ordered a swimsuit online and it having been so comfortable. If you're a bigger girl and have trouble finding clothing that fits comfortably or issues with the sizes being off, I would absolutely recommend that you give this suit a try.

Weird design features
I like the idea of this suit and I think it’s kind of cute, but there are a list of things that make this a “no” for me overall, especially given the price. - the skirt is long in front and shorter in the back. It’s weird. And it feels a little weird too, like my behind is hanging out. - the convertible straps are a nice idea, but I have yet to get it on or off without the straps popping off accidentally. Then you have to fight with them to get them back on while you’re half dressed. I’m trying to find a way to secure them better so I don’t end up losing my top in the water. - the side boning is OK, but I would have much preferred an underwire or some other top reinforcement. The shaped cups don’t really do anything in terms of support. The side boning is a nice idea but I don’t know that it really does much. If this were some budget suit I’d overlook some of these, but for $70-ish I wouldn’t expect to fight with straps or have the skirt version of a mullet. I might wear this one if I can get the straps figured out, but I definitely wouldn’t buy another.
