Can’t vouch yet for how my granddaughter will like this because I’m holding it for her birthday in a few months, but based on her other Melissa and Doug food sets ( pizza with toppings and ice cream shop), she’ll get many hours of play from this Diner too!

3 year old approved

We got our 3 year old son a play kitchen for Christmas but the play kitchen we got didn't come with any food or dishes. I decided on this set because it comes with little bit of everything and the wooden foods can be flipped over for something different. My son loves playing with this set daily and it was budget friendly. You can never go wrong with Melissa & Doug toys.

Good product, some items missing

I just finished unboxing this for my kiddo. I liked this one because for a simple playset, you get cooking utensils, a pan, various foods and drinks. Two cons: LOTS of plastic packaging (lots of waste as everything is wrapped in sets in plastics). But also looks like a QA fail because some items were not included at all. I'm not sad about the dry erase marker but wish I could have had the straw and drink inserts since my kid likes to pretend to make us coffee.

I really like this set. From the moment we opened it my 2.5 yr old loved it. She was walking around taking orders from me and my husband and they weren't accurate when delivered but she didn't care. She liked making the food and serving it, especially coffee. My one wish is if there was a way to make it look like there was actually coffee in the pot but otherwise it's awesome. I highly recommend, the set seems well made and it will last for some time. Daughter isn't old enough to play with he money yet or use the pen but I have set them aside for now. This would also make a great gift. I especially like the bell it comes with, I didn't even realize it came with the set until I opened it up.

Awesome little playset

Big hit with my 5 and 7 year old. They love playing restaurant. This one also adds in practicing writing and math with the menus and play money. Super cute. Would definately recommend

Excellent for Imaginary Play!

Great value for how many part are included. Everything your kid needs for imaginary diner/restaurant play. Only frustration is that some of the food is double sided.
