Used as decor for my bar.

Great for the crafts I made.
These worked fine for what I needed. I made bird feeders putting the bird feed in an empty Dasani bottle and putting a cork in the bottle so when I turned the bottle upside down the bird feed wouldn't pour out When the bottle was set in its holder, I removed the cork and some of the bird seed filled the little bowl until the feed came even with the opening in the bottle. That way, as the birds eat, the seed refills the little bowl.

Quality Not As Fine As Expected
I have ordered these corks 3 different times now, and each time the quality gets poorer. The corks often are split or have deep holes and pock marks in them. I use them to make decorative bottle stoppers and so many of the corks are unusable as they look so bad. I kept hoping it was just a fluke but the 3rd time was not a charm. They may be fine just to plug a bottle but they are not a nice, solid smooth cork like I would expect.

Saving wine? Save your sanity
Corks splitting? Can't recork? It's probably because the wine bottles were stored erect (at the, distributor, the store, and on the way to you by mail) too long. Wine bottles should be kept on their sides, to keep the corks from drying out and becoming likely to split. These replacement corks are handy, and work well. Wish I'd known abbout them sooner.

Holey
Very holey. We were using them for sealing the mouths of vinegar and baking soda rockets. And at least half of them leaked. Probably more like 80% leaked, with a few more with leaks so severe that no pressure could build up. But the few that did work yielded great results.

Works for me
Well, what can I say? They're corks and they plug bottles. I'm happy with my purchase. I make my own salad dressings and use the corks to seal the bottles. I've washed them after using and haven't noticed any residue or odor. I also like not having to buy "an assortment" of corks which usually consists of 60% of the corks being sizes too small for any use I can think of.

Anyone for a granite/cork wine stopper?
My granddaughter puts granite tops on them for wine bottles. Her mom works for a granite company and when the installers cut the holes for the faucets, she has her decorative top for the cork.

Good corks but
They are good corks. I'm not sure if they're not suppose to go all the way down, or whether you really need a corking machine to get them level with the top of the bottle. I can only get them down about 3/4s of the way down
