Not the same!

This is my 4th pair of Wave Riders. 20, 22, 23 all 8.5s. They have been great running shoes. 10+ miles a week for years. This pair, my big toe pushes at the very top. The color is bright and it’s my favorite pair color wise, but it’s frustrating that they change things after 7 years. I haven’t decided if I’m going to size up, or get ASICS instead. Maybe it’s time for a change.

Another great wave rider for endurance athletes

I ran my xxth marathon in these. I have worn wave riders for 10 or so years for distance endurance running. I have tried all brands but always go back to my trusty mizunos. Loving the new bright colors. Order your usual size. They take about 15 to 20 miles to fully break in. Super comfy no need for thick socks. I wear these with feetures and blast off for a fun ride. Enjoy the wave..!

Comfortable

I have been wearing Mizuno Wave Rider shoes for about 4 years now. I find they are the brand and style that fit me best. I prefer the knit version, like these are, sometimes called Wave Knit. They seem to be more durable than the traditional mesh. I was always wearing a hole in the toe area with the mesh version but not with the knit version. I have to go at least a half size up with the Wave Knit as they don’t stretch as much. I usually take 6.5 shoes but with Mizuno Wave Rider I need 7 and with the Wave Knit I need 7.5 Very comfortable shoe and I love the colour!
