They Do Lengthen

These do really make your lashes look longer and thinner. It is achieved by essentially adding lint to your lashes and then putting mascara over it to glue it in place. Which is totally cool, if I had realized it ahead of time. Because it did sometimes get in my eye and I do not like stuff in my eye. It was good for the novelty, but I wouldn't buy it again. I would like to stress though, it works.

Works for me!

I purchased the ModelCo Mascara a year ago and I can vouch that it keeps my lashes hydrated, super soft and nourished with Beeswax and Carnauba. The 2-step fiber lash mascara formula mimics lash extensions up to a certain degree and it's easy to apply and lasts all day. It's also smudge-free and I love it.

Not extreme results

While there was a small noticeable difference in my lashes when using this, it was a lot of effort and honestly not time well spent in my opinion. The fibers did kind of fill out my lashes but were a bit annoying. The mascara is nice though, and I'll just stick with that and not bother with the fibers.

Volumizes lashes like fake ones but don’t love three-step process

I have used Younique two-step fiber mascara in the past so I am very familiar with the process and feel of this MocelCo Fibre Lash Brush On mascara. This mascara is intended to add volume and length to your lashes (not curl) and it’s definitely to be worn when you want a notice my lashes look / false lashes look rather than an everyday natural look. Also to note, this is not a waterproof mascara so it shouldn’t be worn on a day at the beach or to a funeral, etc. What you do with this is apply a coat of black “extension” mascara which acts as a base for the fibers to stick to. Then you add a coating of the cotton lash fibers from the other tube before adding a coating of black extension mascara over the fibers again to glue it all together. This process is quick to do and I prefer it to adding false lashes. However, other companies now have the fiber mascara that is all in one tube so it’s just like applying regular mascara. When applying this, the biggest caution I have is to use a lash tool if possible to place over your eye so that you don’t get the fake lash fibers down into your eyes when adding the fibers or the second coat of mascara - the fibers are really irritating and scratchy. Honestly I would prefer this product if it were a one-step process rather than the older three-step process. Also, this is a little more clumpy than other brands I have tried. This is ok but not the best fiber mascara I’ve used.

Works, but fluff is a little irritating

Pros: this does give volume! The black is a true black and there’s no smudging or flaking. Cons: The fluff does irritate my eyes. Not sure if it’s getting in my eyes or just near it to cause irritation in but it’s not the most comfortable mascara to wear because of it. I tried to apply it just to the ends of my lashes now which does help, but I lose the volume at the root.

When applied perfectly, I get long lashes. But the fibers can get in my eyes.

I used similar fiber mascara way back when the concept of fibers to lengthen lashes began. This set is pretty much like the old school types I used to use. There is a mascara and a tube with fluffy white fibers. You apply the mascara, then apply the fibers and apply mascara over them and you get thicker, longer lashes. It does work but those fibers can flake off and get into my eyes and really irritate them. They are pretty much trapped once the mascara is applied over them but, as I apply the mascara, little pieces of the fibers do come off on my face, the brush, and, at times, in my eyes. They aren't dangerous but I don't want anything in my eyes! When all goes well, I get longer, thicker lashes with no fiber show through. When it doesn't, I end up with irritated eyes and little white pieces on my lashes that I have to pick off. I gave this duo 3 stars because it really can do a great job adding length and thickness to my lashes. But not consistently. I would not buy this set and use it on a regular basis. There are lots of newer fiber mascaras out there that are one step and much less unpredictable.

It's okay, but irritating

I posted a pic comparing my lashes with 2 coats of my usual Estee Lauder mascara vs this system (one coat of the mascara, followed by the fibrelashes, then another coat of the mascara). Tbh, I don't notice that much difference. My husband couldn't tell a difference when I asked him. If I look closely I do think my lashes look a bit longer with the system, but not enough to deal with the itchiness that it caused later. I normally wear contacts but didn't put them in because I wasn't sure how they'd respond to this, and I'm glad for that because I experienced quite a bit of irritation even without them (but I have somewhat sensitive eyes). This is a messy system, as well. The fibers go all over, and they recommend you apply them with your eyes down so they don't get in your eyes, but that's easier said than done, so I definitely got some in my eyes (I could feel them). While the system does provide some lengthening, I have just as much (if not more) when I just use a lash primer and mascara, and my eyes don't get nearly as irritated. This is okay, but not worth the effort or irritation to me. It comes off easily with eye makeup remover.

Messy

I’m not really sure how I feel about this product. I didn’t realize the fibers would be so messy and I was a bit dismayed at all the white clumps all over my eyes and eyelashes. After applying the mascara and making sure no clumps remained, my eyelashes looked a tiny bit fuller and longer, but I’m not sure it’s worth the trouble. This may be something I need to practice to see if I can figure out the ideal way to apply the fibers while maximizing their utility and reducing messes and clumps. As of now, I’m not ready to write the product completely off, but I’m definitely not super optimistic that this product will work for me in the long run.
